  1. Okay, she can sit at my table, although my table is real rowdy. I'm assuming she has excellent table manners and cuts her food up real tiny, we might be a bit rough for her.
  2. Hello MrDavid, nice to meet you.
  3. Thanks for chiming in @Perez. This is actually the only forum I'm ever on, but this is what we figured would happen.
  4. Hello and welcome. Mike Rubendall is amazing, we'll keep you company until your appointments!
  5. It's true, the forum is for everyone, artists, collectors, and the curious/untattooed public seeking good information on tattooing and inspiration. We decided in the beginning to not exclude collectors from the discussions on tattooing, and that this wasn't the place to discuss techniques and trade secrets. However, you can PM anyone on the forum and discuss anything privately. It's discussed at length here and there in different threads, but summed up best here: Tattoo Newbie Guidelines It's not that it's a bad idea, it's just not appropriate for this forum. And thanks for signing up and welcome to LST!
  6. @Chelsea Shoneck, thanks for finally introducing yourself! I say stupid stuff all day long, so I get the apprehension, but I'm glad you've come out from the shadows. And, that bird is scaring me. A lot.
  7. @Joe Shit, you're awesome, always coming with the good information.

    Walking Dead

K, wasn't meaning to debate if it was the best TV show ever, but it is the one I'm waiting for with the most anticipation right NOW. Of course I'm also looking forward to Game of Thrones and True Blood. I'm also loving Dexter and Boardwalk Empire and SOA. But Walking Dead makes me bite my nails when I'm watching, and there's never a boring moment. Regarding the Wire, I got so upset about the kid (Wallace?) getting killed at the end of the first season that I decided not to watch it anymore. Six months later, someone gave us the second season full of jumps and scratches, with one episode stopping at some serious vital moment, so I stopped watching. I think I might re-visit the series soon though, just saw a few boxed seasons at a friends house today.

    Walking Dead

Is there another thread on the Walking Dead series, and I'm just missing it? Because this show is the best show on TV right now. Clay sucks, but he won't eat your brains. Is anyone else making preparations for a Zombie Apocalypse? (besides Jeff Cribb, I mean.)
  10. Congratulations! Can't wait to see how the shop has filled out.
  11. There, I broke the 222 cherry, so to speak. couldn't stop myself.
  12. Can't think of any books, but there are a few cool ones in the more recent "Who do you think deserves some recognition" thread.

    Hi from NYC!

    Hello and welcome new friend!
  14. I'm all for people getting whatever style of tattoo appeals to them the most, it's about personal taste and self-expression and owning your own body. There's not much point in getting tattoos because other people will like them, although that's obviously very common. I'm glad that there are all kinds of tattooers out there, "lid for every pot" and all that. Personally, I like tattoos to look like tattoos, even if you only see a little peek. If this girl were fully dressed and her shirt rode up a little, the glimpse of tattoo might look like scars from a terrible accident or surgery gone wrong. But I bet she loves it, and god bless her for that.

    hello.

Hi Bossy! Nice to meet you!
  16. The loss of Bubbleberry has been hard on us all. Wonder what sirblazealot is doing right now?
  17. She's having a party at her house tonight that involves vegan cheesecake and I'm home alone. so sad.
  18. I just thought we needed to see the picture again! Well done, Mr. and Mrs. Gouge!!!
  19. Wow, if I thought they'd really come out that cool, I'd get some all white tattoos myself. I think, perhaps, someone has adjusted the colors on this photo. The white pigment is under the skin, not sitting on top of it, so any naturally occurring pigment will tint the tattoo. And I think part of why it fades is that it's a pigment, not an ink, which is why colors need black outlines. But if that's what she really wants then that's what she wants, just find a tattooer who will be cool and make her first experience a good one.
  20. Hi Josh, nice to meet you!
  21. It's pretty awesome. I was thrilled with it before, but Jondix kept saying "So much work to do." He's amazing. I'd even post pics, maybe after it's all healed.
