  1. Came across this picture on Fuck Yeah, Tattoos! Lots of crap on that site comes by, but every now and then there are some really good pieces
  2. all that could be said about it is allready said by the people who commented above me, but for those interested in watching the first episode here it is: Ink Master | Tattoo Competition Reality Show | Full Episodes | Spike | Fresh Meat | Season 1 | Free Full Episodes | Spike
  3. In a case like this, who cares about etiquette? It's something that will be on your body for the rest of your life. Just pick an artist who's work you want to complete your sleeve. If could be the artist that did the first half or a new artist. Just my 2 cents. Good luck!
  4. @Steward Robson Honstly i don't want to be a tattooer. I know people on this forum (and artists in general) are hesitant to share knowledge because they might fear competition or disrespect of their profession. My goal in life is to be a social worker, so don't fear any competition from me;) Thanks for the wise words non the less. Cheers. O and one day i will surely visit your shop. Currently saving up for a holliday to the UK and i will include a visit to your shop. The work you put out is just amazing. Respect!
  5. Cheers! @Shmitty as retarded as it may sound, the thought of using a ruler to draw straight lines never occured to me, so thank you xD @kev Thanks a bunch! directly tracing the old flash makes sense. Learn to draw by muscle memory. Gonna see if i can find some nice books and get myself some tracing paper this week
  6. First off, i hope this is the right place for this topic (if not feel free to move/remove it) well over the last few weeks i've started to enjoy drawing. Oldschool imagery to be precise. Yet i only seem capable of copying existing pictures and i just can't seem to put images i have in my head onto paper. Also i can't draw a straight line to safe my life, this is what i struggle with the most. Has anyone got any tips for me? Just as a disclaimer of some sort; I in no way wish to become a tattooer. I'm not that arrogant to think that just because some people say ' that looks like ' when they look at a drawing i did i got what it takes to tattoo people. Not trying to disrespect the artform in anyway. If you can't bring something positive to the art, don't even bother. Well anyway I hope some of you brilliant artist can give an excited amateur some tips;) Cheers everyone

  19. City Creat First Tattoo New on this forum and just introduced myself in the initiation topic and i figured i might as well share my only tattoo i got so far here as well. Its the crest of the city i grew up in. It was an awesome experience getting it and more will probably follow;)
  20. Thanks! yeah, I'm not sure yet what i will get next (nor when i can afford another piece:P) but im hooked. I really dig the oldschool traditional style that gets shown on this forum allot, but i yet have to find an artist here in the Netherlands that can pull it of as bright and crisp as I see here. But hey, im still young so i got plenty of time to pick my next piece.
  21. Hi everyone, After lurking for some time i figured why not register so i can actually participate in conversations and comment on all the awesome pieces of art that are featured on this forum/site. Little introduction about myself: My name is Chris and I'm an 18 year old from the Netherlands. Currently I only got one tattoo on my left calf. It's the crest of the city I grew up in and I've always loved the design so i thought it would be a good design for my first. I love it:D Anyway i included some pictures in the attachments, one is taken when it was 3 days old and still red, the other is the healed result. Cheers, Chris
  22. picture of my tattoo fully healed
  23. The crest of the city I grew up in, done by a local artist named Ruud who works at Tattoo Eus. Here the tattoo is 3 days old
