@KBeee I've heard both sides re: tattoos stretching after pregnancy. So there may be no way to predict what will happen to your body. Therefore, the best piece of advice may be to err on the side of caution IF the tattoo looking wonky after pregnancy is a concern to you.
Here is a link to a blog I follow called Sometimes Sweet: Sometimes Sweet: Tattoo Tuesday V.100
The author used to do a Tattoo Tuesday series, so on the 100th Tuesday, she talked about her tattoos. A little more than halfway down she posted pictures of her rib piece before and after giving birth to her first son. They didn't change at all. Just an example.
Thank you so much for posting the link to this site! Great reading and pics. :)

Welcome to LST...where have you been getting tattooed?
Hi..both of my tattoos were done at a shop called Art in Motion in Colorado Springs, but by different artists. It's been about a year and a half since I got the last one..time for another!

Good afternoon..I'm new to the site and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a 42 year old mom of 4 who just got into collecting tattoos a few years ago. So far I've got 2 pieces and am planning the next one. Also, my oldest son is in the process of apprenticing at a local shop.
Great forum you've got here; I really like the lack of drama. :)
In this thread, we commiserate about healing our fresh tattoos.

I'm a week out from an add-on piece to my lower leg...I was so surprised at how much swelling I had in my foot! It's finally starting to go down now. All my other pieces are on shoulders, wrist, etc. and I've never had a large piece on my leg, so I was a little freaked out about it for a few days. It's in the peeling yuck phase right now..and only an outline, so I get to look forward to more of the same when the color is added next week. Blergyykk!
