Hey all I am traveling to Chicago for a friend's gallery opening on Friday, June 7th. I am trying to get something tattooed when I am out there (Thur. June 6th arriving at 1 and leaving Sat. June 8th at 1). There is such a great group of artists in Chicago, but now I need to find someone who can take on an out of town appointment on short notice! I am just looking to get something done that said artist would enjoy doing and the chance to shake some hands and see whats up in the windy city
Throw out some names if you get a second, or shit if you tattoo in Chicago, do you have any openings. Thank you in advance

Andy Perez, I love your stuff, cant wait to see some stuff in person! Our shop has a double booth this year, so if any of you LSTers need a safe spot to stash some newly purchased goodies, feel free to stop at the booth and say hello! Safe travels to all of those out of towners

Hello all,
my little brother just moved down to Raleigh and I was wondering if anyone here had insight into great shops and artists that they know of or have been tattooed by around there. I am going to have to visit every so often so I would love to build a relationship with a shop/artists down there aside from picking up some new work on my travels. Thank you in advance

Welcome, where in PA are you working?

I have been there a few times, and like you I am a Northeast corridor kid born and raised. I always enjoyed myself out there, it is a really young city it seems, which has its pros and cons. I am sure some of the people on here have great insight into the area, but I would just commend you in the gumption to go for it. There might be something that clicks as soon as you get there, or it might be just another step in the right direction. You would never know if you didn't make the trip, and shit you might find a place that seems perfect before you even get all the way to the other side of the country, good luck regardless on your endeavors.

I saw a girl come into the shop with a memorial piece she had gotten done for her father. "Daddy's Little Angle" I suggested instead of covering it up, we just put a speed square underneath and say he was a carpenter.

We were hoping to sure up a booth, but they booked up quickly. I will definitely be attending though, and hopefully grabbing something fun to cherish forever!

Just finished some Gaelic text on my man Rob's forearm. It translates to "No wise man without fault". He just got home from a 2 year stint upstate. I think next time we are surrounding it in ivy and clovers.

Hello all, my name is Dennis Smyth, I am 27 and have been green around the horns for the past 5 years. Looking to become a more well rounded tattooist from the insight and experience on this forum. I am always interested in any trading of flash or artwork from whomever has time to make it, cheers.
