  1. Sorry, that just hurts. I had a Shepherd who passed 10 years ago and I still start crying if I try to talk about him.
  2. It's just waves and windbars and cherry blossoms. We talked about a bunch of ideas, but there really isn't a whole lot of space and we have so much going on it would probably have been too busy with more images. My back piece is my avatar, I have a tiger and a meditating samurai and koi on one leg and a female samurai riding a tiger along with a snake and skull on the other leg so I was OK with keeping it simple.
  3. I started working on my ass yesterday! Tattoo I mean. I’m working on a body suit and that pasty white ass was really bugging me so I decided to get that tattooed too. I told my artist he could do whatever he wanted, which has always worked out well. My wife said, “ You told him he could do whatever he wanted with your ass?” It’s not as creepy as it sounds.🤔 it didn’t hurt nearly as bad as I thought it would. A little tender around the crack, but not unbearable. He did the outline yesterday, we’re going to color in two sessions, depending on how well I sit.

    Hello

What is the problem with the placement? You probably have a specific vision in your mind so you can see where it doesn't fit your vision, but for someone with no idea what you are trying to accomplish, they will never notice.
  5. I doubt anyone would notice, If you want Japanese, get Japanese. I think mixing is probably more common than having 100% of your tattoos the same style. I think I'm the exception. I'm about 95% done with a Japanese body suit.
  6. I would continue the Japanese theme. Go to google and put in Japanese dragon tattoo sleeve and you’ll get thousands of images and ideas.
  7. You’re fine. No tattoo is as bright 6 weeks later as the day it was done.
  8. I agree with @oboogie. Nothing looks infected. Infected tattoos are generally hot, very painful, extremely red, oozing, or smelly.
  9. Even if it hurts, it's a small body part, so it doesn't take a long time to tattoo.
  10. True. Different people react differently. I hear how bad the back is, but I almost fell asleep several times when I had my back done.
  11. Nice. Elbows are no fun. Glad I’ve only got two of them!
  12. That looks really overworked to me. Just give it a couple of months. If will probably heal fine. I don’t think I’d go back though,
  13. Whatever the artist is feeling. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone into my artist expecting we would work on one thing on a big piece and we wind up working on something different. Let the creative process dictate.
  14. First, £300 for half a day doesn’t sound high to to me. Presumably she drew it before you got there, had to set up, tattoo you, tear down, sterilize everything. It all takes time and time is money. However, that is not acceptable for a couple month old tattoo. I’d cut my losses and find someone good who can fix it. As far as a refund, good luck.
  15. Hard to tell from the picture. We aren’t doctors, but in general, symptoms of ann infection are if it’s hot, red, oozing, extremely painful, bad smell. If it’s just red, you’re probably OK. if you’re concerned, it’s better to be safe and see a doctor.
  16. Welcome! How about some pics?
  17. I’ve had both legs tattooed with no issue, but if it was me, I’d try using cold pacs and exercising the lower legs to try to help blood flow. Disclaimer - I’m not a doctor.
  18. How long ago did you get the tattoo? It will get lighter as it ages, but it's hard to say how much lighter.
  19. I don’t use saniderm but I exercise the day after getting a tattoo, depending on where it is. I think the circulation helps with the healing. Don’t do anything that stretches the skin where the new tattoo is too much. I’m no doctor, but after three days, I wouldn’t worry. That’s just me though.
  20. Nobody wants to visit your shitty website, spamming loser.
  21. Welcome to the forum. I would suggest reading the forum rules https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/rules/. EVERYONE is welcome, but it's not a forum for learning tattooing. From the rules: Do not start threads asking about specific tattooing equipment or techniques, LST is not here to teach anyone how to tattoo. Ask your own tattooer, the next time you are getting tattooed. Maybe they'll answer you, maybe they won't. Do not start threads regarding closely guarded trade secrets - this will keep LST a much more welcoming place for everyone, tattooers and enthusiasts alike.
  22. Good idea. If there is an issue, you can always get it touched up. Have a drink, or your favorite unprescribed pharmaceutical and relax.
  23. How old is it? It doesn’t even look like it’s finished healing.
