    Tattoo

There's always going to be someone to find something wrong with your tattoo. If you like it, get it and don't worry about what other people think it means. A lot of that "my tattoo means ..." comes from reality TV. Most of the people I know, myself included, got their tattoos because they liked the image, not because it had some special meaning. I've got most of my body suit completed and I don't have a single thing that has special meaning to me other than I like the imagery.

How can we miss you if you won’t go away??
  4. The hardest part of getting tattoos is waiting for them to heal!
  5. Welcome to the forum. I can't really tell if it's overworked from the pic. Sometimes things heal rough no matter how good the tattooer is or how good care you take of it. How long ago did you get it? In general they take 4-6 weeks to heal, longer if they scab heavily. Worst case scenario, you can usually fix it with a touch up.
  6. First post is shilling your site. Wham, Bam, thank you Ma'am, don't even buy us a drink first. This is the equivalent of walking into a bar and saying, "Hey, I have a bar down the street, come on down there to drink." It's just Fckn rude.
  7. Don’t worry, rough patches just take longer to heal. Worst case, you can probably get it touched up.
  8. I always laugh at these dick heads whose first post is shilling their crap and get all butt hurt when they get called on it. Too bad we can’t make someone wait until they have ten posts before they can post a link.
  9. How can I miss you if you won’t go away? Take your scabby products with you.
  10. Two posts and on to my ignore list. That’s new record. Being an ass hole to the people who have been on this forum for years is not the best way to introduce yourself. When your first post is shilling your shit product, that tells all we need to know. For the record, I don’t have to show you jack shit, and couldn’t care less about your opinions on my ink.
  11. Take a minute to read what this forum is about. It’s not a forum for scratchers who want to buy supplies. It’s a forum for tattoo enthusiasts. You’re welcome here to talk about tattoos, you’re not welcome here to market your crap.
  12. I love Aussies I adopted a senior Aussie many years ago, one of the sweetest dogs I ever had.

I guess it was a specter that removed it. Please feel free to forget this page again, no one believes your bullish!t.
  14. No, I’ve never put up pics of the whole thing. Too many crazies out there for me to want to be easily identifiable. Yes, I have used the same artist the whole time. I went in to get a kokopeli and wound up with a sleeve, then a chest panel, another sleeve, full back and on from there.
  15. I started at 50, I’m about 3 appointments away from finishing a body suit.
  16. Absolutely age is a factor. The older your skin, the longer it takes to heal. I’m 65 so I know.
  17. At 12 weeks they are usually healed, but older, thin skin can take longer. There doesn’t appear to be anything wrong with it, I’d just keep moisturizing the skin and see what happens.
  18. If it’s not hot, oozing, or extremely painful, it’s probably not infected. I don’t see anything that points to an infection. It looks like a normal, healing tattoo. It will take 4-6 weeks to heal.
  19. Three weeks in, I’d just stop with the moisturizer for a week and let it dry out. You shouldn’t be putting a lot on. Too little is better than too much.
  20. Sleeping on a tattoo doesn’t damage the design. The ink is embedded under THE SKIN.
  21. Not all spontaneous tattoos from an unknown artist suck, but most tattoos that suck are spontaneous and from unknown artists.
  22. Yes, it sucks, but there's nothing you can do about blowouts. If you get enough tattoos, in enough places, everyone's going to have one sooner or later.
  23. Nobody is saying you're stupid and nobody is happy that you're not happy. Take a deep breath and calm down. We're offering advice so it doesn't happen again. Very few people are happy with every single tattoo they have. As the saying goes, "sh!t happens." If someone is offering advice you don't want, just ignore it. And please stop beating yourself up. The only thing you are guilty of is being human.
  24. A tattoo takes 4-6 weeks to heal. That skin looks over worked so it may take longer. Yes, some pain on skin worked that hard would be normal.
  25. Not to be argumentative, but four months should be enough time to heal and just looking at that skin tells me it's overworked. You really just need to wait and see how it looks. I had one of my sleeves extended about an inch and initially, there were two shades of black ink, but eventually you couldn't tell the difference. Can't imagine how much you paid. It doesn't matter how good an artist is, everyone screws up once in a while. The only thing that matters is how good they did YOUR tattoo.
