  1. Welcome to LST, I got my first tattoo at 34.
  2. Hog's advice is the best anyone can give you. That being said, I have pink in my dragon tattoo and it shows up as well as any color. I don't think the crane will be an issue. Stewart Robson did an incredible crane back piece you may want to check out on his site.
  3. @asradin I hate you. Ok, not really, well maybe just a little.
  4. Wait, I don't have to buy sunscreen in a 55 gallon drum anymore? The wonders never cease.
  5. Just get a real one. Yahoo! Shine - Women's Lifestyle | Healthy Living and Fashion Blogs
  6. I normally get down there around 11:00-11:30, check in and head to the Blue Jay for lunch.
  7. That's kind of funny. I'll be there May 24 for the second sitting on the tiger.
  8. I'm guessing it will be around three sessions. If you want to get an idea of what my artist's tigers look like, check Kore Flatmo's Facebook page. He posted a kickass tiger a week or so ago. There's a bunch of other great stuff posted there too.

    Hi!

Welcome, I hope you enjoy your time t LST.
  10. Thank you very much. I'd love to take credit, but I told him what I wanted and let him run with it. The one thing I do know about tattoos, is I know nothing about tattoos. I told him I loved what he did and gave him free rain to run with it. My only request was I wanted the dragon to look wise and benevolent and not menacing. I think he nailed it. I'm excited to see the tiger. Unlike the dragon I won't see a study before hand because I wanted to be surprised and I know any ideas I have will pale in comparison to his vision. One more month to go.
  11. @Chris300 click on images below my avatar. You can see pics from all three sittings on my dragon. It was 12 hours total.- - - Updated - - - Click on the number 9.
  12. Unfortunately, I can't have anything visible do to my job. I sell equipment to farmers and they tend to not be tattoo friendly. I go down in a few weeks to start the tiger on my other chest panel to match my dragon. Then we will start my back piece. Once I'm done with that, I will be don until attitudes change or I retire. It is kind of fun having large tattoos that people can't see, and wouldn't suspect from my outside appearance. It's like my own little secret.
  13. I can't say for sure I have one tattoo at the moment. It covers my left pec, over the clavicle shoulder on to my back and a 1/4 way down my upper arm. with the exception of the area around my nipple and the area very close to my arm pit it wasn't bad at all. From the opinions of the folks here who have far more experience than myself, and I respect immensely the ditch hurts. a lot. You kicked ass getting your first tattoo there, whether you realize it or not. When you get a tattoo some where else you will probably sleep through it. Major props, seriously.
  14. It's a well done tattoo. You're tougher than me, I don't think I'll ever get my ditch done.
