Welcome, @Reed! @Graeme gives great advice. Don't worry about the connection—just find someone you can get along with who will get what you are trying to do. Those are the most important bits.

Words alone, no matter how they are tattooed, tend to be a waste of real estate. Only you can decide if that's what you want to do. White ink often turns yellow, so I'd avoid a lot of it. Best talk to an artist. -

My lips. Hahaha. I tend to lick my lips a lot when I'm getting tattooed (nerves or coping with the pain, I guess—maybe both), and without the lip balm, my lips get really dry. :-) -
Thank you so much! I just adore it. I was playing with my new camera, so I thought I could rather easily check out how she was healing by taking a photo of the back of my leg. Haha.
