  1. In a faux reality world, anyone can be a judge. Its a tv show, the fact that everyone is talking about stuff like who should be a judge is proof that their brainwashing works. In actual reality, no one should be a judge. No one should be a "top tattooer" competing for tv producers ratings.

    Kill your TV

  2. Leviticus also says a woman needs to marry her husband's brother if her husband dies, that people should be stoned to death if they break the sabbath, and a whole bunch of other wacked out ideas. I'm pretty sure that book was written by a homophobic meth head, just disregard that whole shitshow.

Exactly, everyone that points out that verse isn't abiding by any of those ancient laws.

  3. When I lived there you could go pretty much everywhere in the capital (pre-9/11) so not sure if you still can do as much there. The river walk is cool and the botanical garden was one of the best I'd been to at that point. The cathedral of junk is pretty awesome too.

the old san francisco steak house was awesome but I've heard its no longer open.

  4. Apparently, in the late 90s he just happened to walk into Ed Hardy's Tattoo City and ended up getting a crawling panther from Tim Lehi when he was working there. He said at the time he had no idea who Ed Hardy was or anything.....Anyways, the tattoo is pretty rad and it blows my mind that there are so many people out there who just stumble into getting amazing tattoos with no idea that the artist might be one of the most well known and respected in the world, meanwhile, I (and probably lots of others on this forum) spend hours and hours and hours looking up artists in different cities, traveling 10+ hours in a single day (some of you are flying halfway across the world) just to get tattooed by these very same artists.

to me that's the cool part of actually leaving the house, going to a shop and seeing what's out there. so many people are timid or worried about getting some "mindblowing" piece from someone who's got a waiting list and a ton of internet recommendations that they never take a chance. it's one of the coolest things about tattooing that so many people are missing out on. you'd be surprised at how many amazing tattooers have zero internet presence and are close by but it seems like many folks would rather do whats easier and safe.

  5. keep it elevated, take an anti-inflammatory if you are able to. stay off of it when you can and don't alter your aftercare just because of the swelling. hands/feet swelling isn't unusual. usually takes a couple or more days for it to go away depending on how often you can stay off of it and elevate it. and like others said, let your tattooer know because they should be telling you this.

  6. Alanis Morissette and other strong female leads mellow and relaxed. The odd occasional wu-tang and country thrown in the mix with a metal track here and there. The tattooist can feel your personal chi and should adjust the music accordingly.

eventhough I agree with this to some degree, it's not a spa. I want people to be comfortable but also sometimes I may pick music that I am going to work best to that particular day.

in regards to feeling someones personal chi, they best keep it in their pants. that's gonna cost extra and i don't think my wife is going to go for it. petting someones chi. that's like 2 steps above and handjob.

  7. I noticed you made two threads about the exact same thing, both in the initiation section and never introduced yourself or put forth the effort to participate enough to be able to start your own thread.

Really evaluate your efforts regarding tattooing and ask yourself if you are taking the same short cuts.

I posted in the other thread as well before noticing this one.

  8. And you're not going to piss on me because you disagree or had a bad day or whatever. I'm not here to take your shit for my differing opinion, so knock it off.

I think the comment quoted below is what prompted a response that may have seemed less than friendly. If you see someone is expressing themselves in a manner that is passionate or you notice that they seem to be already "hostile" and you throw sarcasm into your opinion, just about anyone will not handle you with kid gloves. That's not a forum only situation.

"Agreed. You know what else is bullshit? Hospital discharge instructions and lemon laws. I mean, buyer beware. Purveyors of goods and services have no social responsibility to ensure the client's well-being once the transaction is over. Good business practice is for pussies"

  9. Alcohol has anesthetic and sedative properties. She's just a jerk.

Actually it impairs judgement and usually causes people to not control their behaviour. It may give anesthetic and sedative effects to some people but not everybody. You just haven't been around any real drunks maybe. Haha!

And if she is intoxicated on anything, I would bet she was acting like this long before the tattoo started.
