  1. You should check out this site, such good flash/art: https://www.tattooeliteinternational.com/
  2. Thanks! Now I have more things to distract me during really boring days at work.
  3. Your drawings are really nice. You have a good understanding of light source. I would really spend some time looking at the classics, because once you get those fundamentals down and learn the mechanics, you'll be able to experiment with lots of styles. The obvious starting points would be Cap. Coleman, Huck Spaulding, Paul Rogers, Sailor Jerry, Stoney St. Clair, Hardy, Zeke Owen, Thom Devita. Then from their, Dan Higgs, Filip Leu, Timothy Hoyer, Grime, Richard Stell, Scott Sylvia, Lehi. And then dudes like Danny Reed, Andrew Conner, Will Lollie, Brian Bruno, etc. Immerse yourself in these people's work, b/c they know what tattoos are, and they know how to make them. All this hot shiny stuff that people are doing now won't hold up over time, so enjoy it for the art. A tattoo should look like a tattoo. But, this is just my humble opinion. I know there are many others.
  4. Yeah man, I'm all about catching rides on comets!
  5. Intro Redux: How awesome is the Danny Reed, Aaron Coleman, Jay Cavna, Chad Soner flash book? Bonkers.
  6. I mean duh. Skinny jeans. Purple nikes. Mitt and throat tattoos (with nothing else). Hahaha. Hopefully I will never be that guy.
  7. I always have ideas for new work, but I am always open to someone's ideas and interpretations on classic imagery. I love hearing the stories about Hardy just going at it, without a stencil or sharpie sketch. I would like to try that sometime from someone I really dig.

Hello, I'm just your average art kid who (well, I'm getting old now), who digs art, music and tattoos. I've had the pleasure of getting tattooed by Andrew Conner, Hunter Spanks, Josh Brown, Matt Brotka, and Chris Porter. All rad/solid guys. Trying to start collecting more. I have an appointment at Smith Street with Steve Boltz next month (so stoked) and I'm trying to get on Chris O'Donnell's waiting list. Aside from those aforementioned, I'm really into the work of Grime, Jef Whitehead, Matt Ariolla, Chad Koeplinger, Tomas Garcia, Brian Bruno, Tony Hundahl, blah blah, etc etc, I could talk about this all day. Wamp wamp what it do.
  9. Lehi, Whitehead, Rassier, any one who works or used to work at Black Heart is the jammy jam. Don't forget about Skull & Sword, worth the wait.
