I made an initial contact with Ben Cheese at Everlasting. I am getting a Chinese tiger v. blue wolf Battle Royale. Super excited to get started with the most important tattoo I've yet. 

Wow, @Michaelshane . I love Marie Sena's work. That cat is in the most comfortably odd position. Something I am doing with my backpiece (there's a tiger involved).

Got my first leg tattoo by Victor J Webster @ East River Tattoo in NYC yesterday. It's his interpretation of the Bakunawa, the Philippine mythical dragon which devours the moon and causes lunar eclipses. 

No, it is a TARDIS, from Doctor Who.
 

When I began looking for my first - have had it about 4 months now - I searched for images that appealed to me and reflected my personality. As it turned out, the one I chose had some tribal lines along with the wolf head. I had not idea that tribal was "out" and, honestly, even when someone commented on it when I first posted a picture in a tattoo forum, I don't care if others find it outdated. I'm not trying to please anyone else - I selected it and got it for me. So, from my perspective, what is trendy or fashionable is unimportant to me. If you like it - go for it.

I got this from my childhood friend Siggy (@siggystarfishtattoo) today. I saw the flash year and a half ago but having been on the opposite side of the world it didn't happen until now. So stoked!

 

I'm not really sure what all's going on here, but I do know that Sonju is a solid dude. So +1 on that, I guess.

i don't think you have too much to worry about. I have been in car crashes, bike crashes, i spar with martial artists much better than me every week. People always comment on how fresh and new my tattoos look.
 
You need to live life my friend!

I would recomend a scientific approach to finding out if this happens.
The first step is to have a professional topographical survey done of the two full sleeves on both your arms.
After that you will have to keep close track of any impacts that your arm's sustain. The g-force measuring equipment is heavy and hot, but in the name of science I feel you should person-up and wear it for the cause.
Finally after each impact above the small bump level (impact force in kilonewtons as yet to be defined) you will need to re-survey both your two full sleeves on both your arms daily, perhaps twice, to look for fading. External variables, such as light exposure and aging will be hard to account for, but hopefully the measuring equipment will provide some sun protection.

HULA BUG!



She's looking far better than the last time I posted pictures. A lot of her yellow has come in and it appears as though she is a Super-Hypo. Short for super hypomelanistic leopard gecko, meaning that she has none of the spots that standard leos have, save for the tail and a few on the head/face. I'm thinking she also might be a carrot-tail (30% orange tail), cause with each shed a little more orange shows up.
Basically she is an adorable tiny dinosaur. :o
