I wanted to say a quick thanks to Lochlan for asking me to answer the three questions. I have been part of this forum for almost an entire year, and I still enjoy it as much now as I did when I stumbled upon it. Between family and work I don't have the time to contribute as much as I would like so I was glad to get the opportunity to sit down and answer the questions.

Have a safe trip home. I am really looking forward to seeing some photos of the healed tattoos.

I have learned a lot, and I have met a lot of good people on here. Proud to have been a part since early on.

My favourite interview so far.

Is that $$$ for a shop in Vegas?

Demian was working the front, and kind of apprenticing when I was getting tattooed there. He is absolutely the toughest looking dude you could possibly have working the front of a shop. There is a lot of talk oh LST about how much people miss when tattoo shops were scary places. It was only about eight years ago, but between Demian and Clay, True Tattoo was a scary place.

Next time ride the train on up to Vancouver.

Matt Arriola is doing my back. You have a good eye. Matt and Jason are friends. Jason did Matt's back (it is posted on the new Great Wave website). Is Nick Ley doing your back? I met him a couple of years ago, and he was a really nice guy, great tattooer.
Chris Trevino has a Fudo Sword on his website that may give you some ideas as well. It is on the guy with the full body suit, but you can still get an idea of the backpiece as its own tattoo.

This a link to my back in progress, which is also a Fudo Sword. There will be black background added, but none will go below the ass cheeks. And Stewart is right your ass will hurt like hell. Especially the top of the crack.

It wasn't necessarily my job, but I had started hating myself and the way that I was living my life. I bought a one-way ticket to Thailand with very little money, and no intention of ever coming back. One month into the trip I met a beautiful girl from Vancouver, BC. Two months later I was back in the States. Five years later I am married to that girl, and we have two great kids, and national health care. I always thought that I would end up living in another country, but I never thought it would be Canada. We still have very little money, but we are very happy.
I think that the best things in life find you, not the other way around. Sometimes the less pressure you put on yourself, and the less you try to figure things out, the more they figure themselves out.
And if nothing else is working just go and get some really pretentious quote from a novel or poem tattooed on your ribs. That seems to be working for everyone else. I hope that you have some nice changes soon, and keep us posted.

I have been waiting for this interview to be posted. Bryan is one of if not my favorite tattooer. I look forward to the rest.

I got tattooed by Bailey a couple of years ago. I was visiting New York, and only had time for a small tattoo. He did a bird on my hand. It is solid, simple and I like it a lot. He was punctual, prepared, and nice. The experience was a good one.

Does anyone know if the last tattoo shown is his son? The one with the the snakes and ghosts.

I don't touch my new tattoos, hardly at all. In general I heal pretty well. If it looks too dry I will put on a bit of lubriderm, but that is it.

I really enjoy these interviews. They are my favorite part of Last Sparrow, and all of them have been excellent. Also I think that every kid in North America has one of those Sophie giraffes. Whoever invented that thing must be loaded.

I won't be in Portland, but if you like Thai food you should checkout Lemongrass. It is reasonably close to the Ace. The food is incredible. It is also very spicy.
