  1. Israel. Poland and Ukraine are also options, but it may be a bit tricky to arrange.. What do you think about this sketch? I've just received it from some of the local artists whom I talked to about touch up.
  2. And.. I've planned this tattoo for about a year. I've been at several studios, I've read endlessly tattoo forums and subbreddits and educated myself as much as possible. So this tattoo is even more painful to see. If it was a walk-in newbee mistake - ok, it happens. But all this research- and for nothing? .. really discouraging
  3. I want skulls and ravens and bones, but I struggle to imagine what will look nice near my existing tattoo. It may not be cohesive at all.. like, really, what will look nice at the other side of the forearm?
  4. That's a problem. I've seen lots of pages of local artists, and if we leave aside those who make minimalistic or geometry (mandalas everywhere!) or old school tattoos, there is nothing left. It is really strange - you open the portfolio and you see all the styles from watercolor to black work. No signs of personal style.
  5. JessicaRay, no verdict, unfortunately. My bumps were smaller and just went away one day all of the sudden leaving a bit raised lines.
  6. I have a Pinterest board with photos of different body parts with tattoos that (vaguely) look like ones I want, so when you open the board you can see the whole picture in one glance. Which one to do next depends on the finances and avaibility of artists and plane tickets
  7. I am sorry for intruding, but have your doctor discussed with you an option of biopsy? I went to the doctor with similar issue and that's what he said can be done to understand what's happening in the bumps and so to treat them appropriately
  8. Maybe not bad, but definitely not spectacular.. It's a pity we don't have a choice of great artists here in Israel. Minimalistic tattoos are so 'in' now here
  9. Thank you, SStu! Any ideas how to improve the tattoo? I feel it is too primitive and unbalanced..
  10. Thank you. Would you mind to explain what is meant by monochromatic? So to know what to look at when choosing the next artist..
  11. Greetings! I am happy to find such a nice community:) This is my first tattoo, I am overall not really happy with how it looks like. My fault - shouldn't have chose too many elements of such different size. So.. the question is - should I go and add more elements (another fox and mushrooms and some flowers) to balance it (small foxes and mushrooms, bigger flowers), or better leave it as is, or.. I am open to all suggestions! And what do you think overall? I like the artist's technique, so will it be wise to come back to him? Attached both fresh and healed. BTW why it became much darker after healing? All the leaves were semi transparent at first, but now they are just dark Attached also my attempt of sketching the possible addition.
