  1. Yeah, I’ve sent photos on but he’s not had a chance to see it in person. The hot water incident seemed to draw a lot of plasma out leading to quick and bad scabbing, only thing I can think of unless it’s the area of skin being sensitive, can’t imagine so. The bubbling only happened with ointment but I was minimal on that. I’ve been told he can fix it. Eye on left hand side to me I can’t tell if it’s only still red or ink has spread, assuming that’s more a problem to address if so. I see the guy for more work this weekend but will have to leave touch ups for a while till it calms down. Some ink is missing and not sure if some ink has spread, Does it look fixable?
  2. 3.5 weeks in, I’m expecting a decent bit of touch up is gonna be needed on this now. Most of the healing seems to have settled down. Can’t see it improving all that much now sadly.
  3. I’ve had my tattoo done couple weeks ago now. I realise it’s early and still likely healing and all I can do is wait, but some lines around nose, mouth, eyes look a little scarred (third pic maybe shows this best) but hoping they will heal out in next weeks. These particular lines which look scarred appear to have no ink behind, just plastic looking shine In other areas the tattoo appears to have lost ink. One of the eyes looks massively faded and a little red still and other areas look generally faded even after what seemed like a second peel (still the odd bit of dry skin coming off so maybe this is still ongoing). Right after taking off the cling I was washing off the tattoo under cold water when it quickly turned hot and hit the tattoo, stupid I know. It got very sore for about 30 mins and plasma was leaking out, which led to heavy enough scabbing. When I tried to put even small amounts of hustle butter on parts of the tattoo bubbled up, so I dabbed this down each time. The bubbling only occurred when adding this, but I was careful to not put on too much and to wait until tattoo had dried for 30 mins after blotting dry also. I’m now wondering is it likely that these shiny lines will be scars or just a case of wait and see? Does the tattoo actually look to be healing ok and it will improve and look more like the original as it heals further? I’ve had another tattoo by same artist few weeks before without any scabbing whatsoever, healed perfect and turned out amazing, I’m just hoping the hot water episode hasn’t destroyed this one, especially as the guy did such an amazing job. Thoughts?
