Yeah, that yellow is just body ooze. You'd see the same effect if you had a brush-burn that was under stretching/shrinking.

How fresh is the tattoo? To me, it does look possibly infected, but that doesn't mean it won't heal. Take a pic daily, preferably at the same time (right after cleaning it, for eg), and compare to make sure it's not getting worse. If it gets red or hot, then see a doctor right away. I've had something similar twice - once it healed perfectly well on its own, and the other, it needed antibiotics.

Unless it's very painful and has a bad odor, I wouldn't worry about it. I don't see anything that indicates any kind of problem.

It looks really great! Cool placement too. Enjoy it and don’t stress! I find myself stressing over small details, healing, etc., but at the end of the day, people will not notice 99% of what you do! 😃

My first tattoo took 4 weeks to heal, and looks great. If you took good care of it and its not infected, there is nothing to worry about i think.

Thank you. I appreciate your response.
I didn’t necessarily think it was blowout as much as “bleeding” or “spreading” due to my light peeling, since the other side wasn’t really doing that. But I guess area can affect that?

Right now that’s still one big scab. Relax. You need to heal.

I had a tattoo season 2 days ago...look at my lines right now. They are a scabby mess. But In a month they will be smooth and silky.

It’s NOT blowout. It’s the healing process.
    Let it happen.

That's my thought too. Sweat sure wouldn't hurt anything... everybody else's bacteria would.

Over lotioning is harmful, but light usage helps some people deal with the healing. I'm about 70% covered, have never used any and all my collection has healed perfectly.

I guess another reason I was asking about blowout was because the lines on the other side look a little cleaner, or maybe it’s just my imagination. Could be placement or positioning or whatever, too.

Admittedly, I had just got done peeling from a sunburn on the side of my arm in the first pictures. I mean, it had been 2-3 weeks since I was burned, and it was very lightly, with minimal peeling, so I doubt that affected it too much but I guess there is always a chance.

Cool. Yeah, I use very little Lubriderm. Just enough to loosen it up a little and hydrate my arm. It’s unscented as well, so I don’t have to worry about irritation. Appreciate you, bud! Thanks again for the info.

You won’t know anything about blowout until it heals.
The day after my last session the line work was 3x wider than when it was done. After it scabbed and came off it was normal. Give it more time.

I typically clean the tattoo twice a day with antibacterial soap and use a thin layer of aquaphor afterwards. Just make sure you aren’t drowning it with moisturizer.

I don’t see anything to worry about there.
I recently got the beginning line work for a sleeve and we started on the forearm. Man, was it red and irritated. Took about a week but it subsided. Just keep it hydrated and you should see improvement in a day or so.
