    HI!

What @Graeme said. That and bring printed references. They don't need to be exact or specific. Once you've found the artist that does work you love, leave all the creative process up to him/her.
  2. welcome. Like the Old Man Redhot!
  3. That would make an excellent (motorcycle) gas tank emblem.
  4. I'm not balanced yet, but in my mind the end result shows balance.
  5. Quite a while back, even before the movie was released. Don't remember the outcome, tho . . .
  6. I used to be an active Hasher (Hash House Harrier - you know, that drinking group with a running problem), and that's exactly how they communicate in a crowd of strangers. If any one of them is searching out like compatriots they say or yell out "Are you?" and the responding party responds with "On-On!". Maybe when in a group of the finely tattooed we need to loudly work the words "Last Sparrow" into our conversation and see whose ears perk up . . .
  7. He does quality work. You'll be fine.
  8. Shige is truly a warrior of life. He makes me feel inadequate at a human. I love his analogy of how tattoos are like fireworks. Thank you, Marcus - wherever you are!! (snif)
  9. Oliver is one of the few who can genuinely pull it off.
  10. tick . . . tick . . . tick . . .
  11. 8 weeks after my 4th session: Dropped by Eye Candy just over a week ago and Randy Muller seems quite happy with the results and advises we're easily to a fade level that will give him good options for a cover. He took a couple of pictures and we'll consult again in a couple of weeks. Hoping to be starting on my back piece in September.

    Hello

Welcome and kudos for researching your 1st tattoo. It's good that you can recognize good artwork. Get familiar (here and elsewhere) with what makes a good tattoo good - the physical process and application. DO NOT assume that because your desired image is simple that just any artist can pull it off. That is definitely not so. In fact, the simpler the design (especially a geometric one like a bisected shell) leaves NO room for error. The artist has to be perfect the 1st time. No way to hide mistakes. Take money out of the equation. You'll likely end up paying the shop minimum in any case.
  13. Welcome. What's your position at BHT? Show us some ink.

    Hello

Nice! Can't wait to see your new snake.
  15. Tripled. Unless you want realistic/portrait, then get in line with Liz Cook.

    Hiya There

    Let's see . . . at this rate you'll be covered at age 23 1/2.
  17. I'm sorry, but that IS a blatant invasion of privacy.
