  1. oh yeah, stu. i could be sitting for that time and dont know. im assumming its more like 15 tops, tho. and im getting large parts of my body treated. are youre zapping everything? head to toe? damn. are you going to fade fast?

No, I've got a collection of random stuff from the '70s and '80s that's taking up prime real estate on about a quarter of my back. Definately some lightening 6-8 weeks after the 1st session. Anxious to see how it'll look 8 weeks after the 2nd session. I'm hoping my 5th session in Sept-Oct will have gotten it all light enough for new cover work.

  2. Hooper is moving to Austin and will be at rock of ages. That is why he is not taking new clients, probably. Don't know when he will be here full time but it has been around since November that he is moving to Austin. Talk to dryfess. Oh, and hooper will be co owner of rock of ages with Steve Byrne and tony Hundahl. He has signed on a house too!

I'm kinda late on this converation, 'cuz I've been traveling for work - but I am both happy and sad that this information is now "out there".

Happy because I've supposedly been on Hooper's "Austin-to-be-contacted" list since November (patiently pacing the floor).

Sad because now I'll have to compete with all y'all for appointment times . . . ;)

  3. I am in the process of getting a koi with maple leaves three quarter sleeve which is being done by Mo Coppoletta from The Family Business, so far I have had two three hour sessions, pretty much all the outline has now been finished.

Looks good. What are you covering?

  4. I've seen a before and after picture of something similar to that. I think it really boils down to your doctor and how concerned he/she might or might not be with lining up the original art.

Type of art (at least in my eyes) might have a bearing in it, too. A scar through a cool traditional american piece would be much easier for me to absorb than the same interrupting a very photorealistic piece.
