sorry this didn't get any responses.
I've got a Cicada on my future list, but nothing inked yet . . .

My wife thinks that there is a logistical issue with this . . .
Ha! The logistical issue just may be = how you are going to get home from the studio?!

@chrisnoluck - Hadn't seen your Mickey Rat before. Love it.
I'd also love to see some of the ladies' expressions when they walk up behind you for the 1st time . . .

Hey

I sat for 2 hours Saturday while Randy Muller drew on my back. He transferred the rough sketch to paper and will get started on the full detail stencil. Hoping to finish all the outline during our 1st appointment - Dec 3rd.

If you're not already - check out Tattoo Museum's Instagram page. Hank just posted more than a dozen fabulous photos!

If she wants realistic then she should contact Nate Beavers at Nate Beavers : Tattoos : Page 1
If she wants true traditional then she should really travel to Austin, but Scorpion is about as close as it gets for traditional or as good as it gets for stylized for Houston.

Colors will be darker initially. The real fading won't take place until your body starts to absorb the ink. Mine took 2-3 weeks before it started showing up and 6-8 weeks to be "finished" from that particular session.
Avoid infection? Don't mess with it, let the blisters pop on their own. Keep it covered and wash it a couple of times/day. I covered mine with non-stick gauze until the blisters dried up.

welcome, and yes - always credit your artist!

my suggestion would be to take your time and research artists in/around the area you are in and figure out who is doing the work you like the best. Then, if you're still void of ideas - consult with the artist to see what the 2 of you can come up with.

I can see it taking sugar-skull ink to another level.
Rob
Not quite as common as a Tibetan Skull, but they've certainly been around.
Thank you
