Looks ok to me, I’m not an expert but tattoos never stay as crisp as the day they are done

Update on healing: Been a week since I’ve removed Dermalize and was a bit worried. Seems to be healing alright looking at it. The nose area where it is shaded and right side of the hat (in picture) still seems really rough to touch and it’s a lot drier then the rest of the tattoo. I’ve been washing twice a day (quick wash morning and night) and applying a small amount of hustle butter 2-3 times daily. - any tips or idea of the rough/dry patches? Forgot my hustle butter today so whilst at work I’m going to have to use a bog standard Nivea moisturiser.

Yeah. Personally I think I’d wait the 6 months ...
Yeah wait the 6 months mate, don’t rush in to getting a touch up you will regret. - He has space for a reason; Either he has a cancellation or he isn’t that sought after

Really over panicked when I first used it, this forum helped put my mind at ease

Dude. Don't lie to him. It is AWFUL. It is badly done and amateurish. There isn't a straight line to be seen anywhere. All the damn shading in the world can't fix that horrible tattoo.
Completely agree but I’ve definitely seen a lot worse

Don’t worry too much though mate, it isn’t that bad 🙂 I’ve seen far worse tattoos on friends of mine. I’ve only just started getting tattoos myself but people always told me if someone hasn’t got a long waiting list they aren’t in demand.

You can't "fix" this. Your artist lied to you, shading doesn't correct a crooked line or fix a bad design. Your best bet is to find another artist. Don't just look at peoples work on line, people put up work they didn't do all the time. I wouldn't go to anyone without a personal recommendation from someone I know and trust.
Or they’ll put up work they carried out to perfection and miss out all the bad ones in between

Hi guys I’ve currently got two tattoos on my lower right arm which I’ll attach below. I didn’t really have an idea for my sleeve to begin with but it has gone down the line of portrait tattoos of characters from movies I enjoy. I currently have Joaquin Phoenix from ‘Joker’ and Alex DeLarge from ‘A Clockwork Orange’. I was thinking of adding in Bill The Butcher (Daniel Day Lewis) from ‘Gangs of New York’ and The Baseballs Furies from ‘The Warriors’ all are in black and grey portrait style. I’ll attach the two current photos and the two photos of what d like to add. Any ideas or suggestions throw in them my way 🙂

Every tattoo does not heal exactly the same way. Don't drown it, just a light coating of whatever you use. I just use cocoa butter, no need for that expensive stuff. Complete waste of money, IMHO.
Yeah a lot of people have said that to me, originally I just used palmers cocoa butter but this time over panicked and bought a £20 tub of Hustle Butter which is just expensive cocoa butter aha, lesson learnt 🙂

It's my second tattoo I have Joaquin Phoenix as Joker on the other side, just my first time using dermalize, it heals a lot differently. Going by the internet there shouldn't have been any peeling really with dermalize just got myself a bit worried I think.

What do you all think from the photos? Any damage done to the tattoo?
-
I’ve applied a small coating, tattoo feels a bit greasy and shiny. Also applied to flaking areas is this good or bad?
-
Hi guys thank you for your replies. When I sent it to my artist he said it was just light scabbing that came off all at once with Dermalize and to keep moisturising rest of tattoo.
This is what it looks like today 7 days old, been out of Dermalize since Sunday morning (when previous pics taken) - I currently have tattoo goo original (green tin) and Hustle Butter Deluxe which one would you be using?
-
Hi. I’ve just removed my Dermalize after approximately 5 days, upon doing so an extremely large layer of tattoo appears grey as if skin has peeled, the rest is still extremely dark and sticky in places. Where the skin feels as if it has peeled is now a greyer black, smooth to touch and the tattoo stings a little in places
