  1. Relevant True Story: I was recently getting tattooed by Chad at the Cleveland convention and he was talking about full back+butt pieces and how he thought they looked dumb if they didn't go allllll the way into the butt crack. You heard it here first: Chad Koeplinger will tattoo in and around your butthole.

    Hi

Marchetto is so good and clean! I am surprised I don't hear his name mentioned more often. I used to live around the corner from that shop but before Chris was there. Great shop, Erick Lynch is an awesome tattooer as well. Welcome!
  3. I saw this dude walking around a convention (in shorts, obviously), absolutely stunning in person. I am almost positive, though, that it is just one leg.
  4. Wow that thing is insane. I gotta say, though, that one little tentacle crossing the middle of his torso is driving me nuts!
  5. Horizakura. So amazing. I have never seen scales done like that, almost used like a background element.
  6. Assuming you are the one Hooper refers to as "Eisenhower" I saw a bunch of pics of your work on IG. Brutal indeed! Congratulations, can't wait to see the finished product.
  7. I am not sure how he would make any money off this aside from whatever royalties he'll be getting from it airing in the UK (not sure what the Community Channel is but it doesn't scream "big money" to me). Either way I doubt it he is making "bank" off this. I suggest everyone who enjoys to donate to the paypal on the Gypsy Gentleman site.
  8. Came across these pieces today from Bill Canales and Rudy Fritsch and had to post them to my favorite LST thread... Don't know anything about the artists on this one but the caption said Amsterdam Tattoo Convention 1994, thought it was an awesome picture...
  9. Discover an awesome tattooer that I want to get tattooed by ... works across the Atlantic at Frith Street, happens every time.
  10. Wow, nice first post... let's see some pics! What did you get from Horiyoshi III and Horimasa?
  11. Welcome, Andres I just had a look at your portfolio on facebook, very nice work! Everyone at your shop looks very solid. I hope you don't mind me posting this here but this guy is awesome!
  12. Never heard of these being racist...is there some history behind this? Not doubting you just curious.
  13. Seriously loved the amount of times you said "young guns" in this post. Solid advice.
  14. That would be awesome if my mom had a panther tattoo! Edit: I just realized your anti-panther remarks were in response to something I wrote. I was (mostly) joking... but seriously though, try liking panthers harder.
  15. Sorry bad phrasing / pronouns ... what I meant was just getting just your legs tattooed is viewed as kind of lame. Obviously NOTHING lame about full Japanese sleeves!
  16. I'd say any of these and/or a giant panther with a heart in its mouth that says mom.
  17. I've been getting tattooed for 2 or 3 years now (mid 20's, somewhere around 10 pieces) and work in the arts so my need for cover up is minimal. I have pretty exclusively stuck to my legs, mainly because I can only afford small to mid sized pieces right now. I know that in the tattoo world that is considered sort of lame but I am pretty settled on full Japanese sleeves and full back and chest pieces (which I will do before the arms). To each his own but I am thankful everyday I haven't made any rash decisions and ruined huge pieces of prime real estate.
  18. So cool! edit: I login to instagram on my laptop through followgram.me and you can just right click and copy images from there. edit2: Just came across this by Jelle S.O.O.S.... he called it Pharoahs Panthers!

@jacobhh some amateurish tattoo inspired watercolors, me at steak and shake at 4am
  20. I am sure you have heard of him but just in case I recommend checking out Brian Kaneko. I am pretty sure he apprenticed with the Salmons. He does a real nice Horitoshi inspired style. His peonies are probably the finest I have seen.
  21. Just updated the photo as an attachment...
  22. Chad Koeplinger - Done at the Cleveland Convention
  23. Just got home from getting tattooed by Chad Koeplinger at the Cleveland Convention. Awesome experience and Mario Desa, Greg Christian, and Mike Wilson were just chilling nearby chatting with Chad as it he tattooed me. Awesome experience. This is on my leg, I realize it looks like an arm.
