Hi RockelMan - I tested this out and was unable to reproduce what you're seeing. When you have a chance, could you try it with a newly-uploaded image? Maybe it's just happening with images that were imported from the old gallery.. If it continues, let me know which browser you are using. alternatively, just let me know which images you want to delete and I'll do it for you. Thanks!

Thanks for everyone's input here - I was starting to wonder why nobody had opinions about the new gallery yet! RockelMan - I have updated permissions so you can delete your pictures now - let me know if you find otherwise. Valerie/Iwar/Stewart - thanks for clarifying the next/previous issue with not staying in the members' gallery. I see it too now, and will work on finding a fix for that. In the meantime, you can use the 'slideshow' feature to view all of the pictures in a member gallery as expected. Keep the comments and suggestions coming - we definitely want to make the site as good as we can. The primary idea behind the gallery is just to make it easier to see what is in it. with 3,500 pictures in a big bucket - it was getting hard to navigate. We shouldn't be losing any of the features that the old gallery had, just getting a bunch of new ones that make it better, so let me know what else is missing from the old gallery and I'll do my best to fix it.

Alrighty - some of you may have already noticed that the new Tattoo Gallery system is live! Go ahead and start moving your pictures to the best-fit categories by following these steps: 1. click on the thumbnail of the picture you want to move 2. select 'image tools' at the top right 3. select 'edit image' 4. scroll down to the category dropdown menu below the picture 5. choose the new category and hit 'save changes' Let us know if you run into any problems trying to do this. You can also go ahead and start uploading new pictures and using all of the other new features available. I'll be fine tuning things here and there over the next week - let us know if you run into errors/bugs/etc. Enjoy!

Okey dokey - making another run at this now. I've turned off upload option in current/old gallery system (I hope) while I import pictures + comments to new system.

Update: one small bug holding up the process here folks. should have it sorted within a week.. good times!

Ok turned back on. hitting a couple speed bumps and have to catch the bus soon, so probably switch to new gallery tomorrow. stay tuned!

I am going to turn off the ability to upload images now, while I copy current images into the new gallery - so that people aren't uploading during the transfer. It should only be for 20 minutes or so. Everything else should function normally.

So, as mentioned in another thread - this is finally ready to go live. I am installing it today and hope to make it live today or tomorrow! We expect that there will be some bugs to work out, and some initial confusion about the new interface and functionality, so thanks in advance for bearing with us as we learn the ropes with our new and improved system. The net result should be a big positive for everyone. Cheers.

As Loch mentioned, I am installing the new gallery system. and will have it live shortly. I didn't expect any surprises like this of course, so apologies for the weirdness, and double thanks for your patience. good stuff coming soon!

Hi Nico, You can post to the forums and threads and attach pictures from your mobile device using forum runner. You can't access the tattoo gallery though.

Thanks guys - what oaktownfunk described is the correct approach on android as well. You should see an option called 'Search Forums' when you open the Forum Runner App. just type in 'last sparrow' and it should appear. let us know if you have trouble finding it using the Forum Runner search.

Hi Nico, Were you able to locate the forum by using the search feature in your free forum runner app? I have the paid version ($1.99) and it works for me on Android. Forum Runner is the only app that can be used currently. We will create a custom one w/ more functionality eventually.

Update: there are a few small technical niggles that are holding up the new gallery system, so it looks like we'll miss our target date of cinco de mayo sadly. We are getting close though so it shouldn't be too much longer.
