  1. I think that’s the way it goes, you have loads of ideas but then life gets in the way! I don’t think covid helped anyone. It Sounds like you are ready to get some more work done soon! Good luck! 👍
  2. I think it will fade a lot after healing. At the moment the contrast is jarring but once it’s settled down I’m sure it wit will blend in with the rest of your sleeve. I’m always surprised at how much black and grey does fade after healing. It looks good by the way, probably because it’s on your hand and you are seeing it all the tIme is causing anxiety. I’m sure it will look great once fully healed.
  3. Looks great, I love the dove! I’m sure your artist will be able to guide you with some more ideas to turn it in to a sleeve. Congrats! 👍
  4. I think you probably need to make an appointment with a tattooist and get a sketch done. If you haven’t found anything you like so far you obviously have something in mind but you won’t know it till you see it on paper. I would try not to overthink it too, it is important to get what you want but there are limitations. I’m sure a good artist will be able to create something you are happy with. Good luck!
  5. Looks great, I’m sure it will be the first of many. Once you start it’s hard to stop! 😄
  6. I agree, it will still be there but you would imagine with a tattoo it will be less noticeable if anything. I’m sure it will look fine.
  7. That will be great, looking forward to seeing it! :)
  8. Congrats on both counts! Your tattoo looks fantastic! 🙂
  9. I think the flames look decent. Maybe add more cloud around the eagle and bring it over the panther instead. It depends on your preference, you could add more stars aswell.
  10. How did it go, are your lines still raised. I haven’t heard of this happening before.
  11. As the others have said it’s fine too get what you want but you need to tell the Tattoo artist and let them do there thing. It’s fine to make a few changes but how many times did you contact them, I’m guessing at some point it became too much. The thing is the artist knows what they are doing so what they come up with is usually better than anything we come up with ourselves, not always but the more free reign the artist has the better the tattoo ends up. I hope you do manage to get the tattoo you want.
  12. Yeah it could mean anything, only the person with the tattoo can answer that.

    New tattoo

I’m sure there will be an artist out there who can help you out. It’s just about taking your time and finding them. For what it’s worth the tattoo doesn’t look particularly bad until you get up close. It could be so much better but I wouldn’t rush into something thinking it looks awful. As others said it needs to heal properly yet before you do anything to it.
  14. All you can do is wait really, you won’t know until it is fully healed. That will be why the studio said to wait and see.
  15. Thanks @Dan, I appreciate that mate!🙂
  16. Just had the 2nd session on the top of my arm. Reworked an old tribal and added an eye and some dot work. Quite hard to see as it wraps around. 🙂
  17. Welcome aboard! 🙂

    Hello

    Welcome! 🙂
  19. Still needs to heal, you won’t know what it looks like until a month or more. They always look rough when healing.
  20. Like others have said you can’t make a dark tattoo lighter without laser. For what it’s worth I think it looks ok. I think by adding to it it will just make it even more dense. The ankle could definitely be reworked with the right tattoo artist.
  21. Ah thanks. Looks like you have had a long journey with that one! I bet you are finally glad it’s finished. It definitely doesn’t look like a cover up! 👍
