  1. I have not seen that piece of traditional before and that would certainly work, thank you! - - - Updated - - - Wow! I am loving his artwork, right up my street. Only thing is and probably a big thing with this idea is I want BnG and I know this would work so much better with colour.... - - - Updated - - - Thanks mate, yes those are the sort of lockets I had in mind but with a more detailed cover of the locket maybe on one side, like opened.
  2. Thanks guys, Yes this is exactly the feel I would like to get. I would like a background to tie it all in. I am not totally sure that this idea will work as well as it does in my head as the two types of art are so different, so to get the mix and the right feel maybe really hard to do. I will od course speak to my artists and see for a final decision on whether it can be achieved. I mean if I do some of the flash as in traditional i realism then is it really traditional? It will just be a realism piece, so maybe this is not such a doable idea :(
  3. Hi Chaps, I am trying to plan something original for my other sleeve and I felt like I wanted to try and use famous, common, traditional flash images but in a realism style from 5 different artists. Nikko Hurtado will be doing the main top arm piece as I want my mothers portrait but i cant think of a traditional piece that could incorporate her portrait. Maybe a locket or something but I haven't seen anything like this in traditional. This is the only part that I am adamant that I want (the picture of my mum) I am no expert with traditional even though I grew up with loads of it, so I am hoping you guys could possibly suggest some that could work as realism. This could all be a bad idea lol I know the panther is a real famous one but I just don't think that would be able to be done in realism and not look like its traditional, plus I already have a panther :) The following is just ideas from my limited knowledge. I would like a cobweb on my elbow but done as a 3d with water droplets etc. Other pieces I think are famous and could work are Anchor, Ship, Dagger through heart, fighting cockerel, Devil with Pitch fork, snake and dagger. Thats really where I have got to. Do you guys think this could work or is it a terrible idea? What other images would you suggest? Cheers guys :)
  4. Thanks guys, It was definitely one of the worst place to get tattooed for me :)
  5. Met with Carlos Torres in Paris after the convention to finish this little side piece. Fuck me this did really really hurt!
  6. Cheers mate :) Making some tweaks to zoom etc soon. Getting all the info for artists after researching each artists as well takes ages, so I am going to try upload 100 a month, I got like 1500 to add lol
  7. Thanks mate :) Oh yes mate I have loads of traditional artists to add, I will be adding every style imaginable. Once I start uploading these when ingot all the info, you guys expertise on traditional and input would be awesome!
  8. This is one of the things I must change. I will put the remove ads button on the front page, at the moment its on the map top right corner. Its 99p to remove them :)
  9. Thanks chaps! This is more like a beta test of it, there are a few things need working on:) Let me know what you think!
  10. Hi folks, Search the Android Market Place for 'Brag Art List' Apple is not released yet but should be next week. Well finally the first phase of the app on Android has gone live and can be downloaded. I am for now just keeping the info its live to the forums for a first feel and until Apple is released, which will hopefully be next week. Then I will hit all my social medias, artists etc with the info its been released. The description I hate lol Sounds like a Janet and John book, so that is being redone but for now you can if you wish, read the cheesyness ha! :) I would really appreciate if people could 5 star and write a review on it as the best thing since sliced bread lol on the actual app to help it climb in searches. But I would really like the hard truths, feedback's, criticisms, suggestions etc here please. Please be brutally honest here :) There is a small icon in the top left corner for searching, Country, City, Town, etc or you can manually use the touch screen. I really wanted it to launch with the links to the artists social medias to use the in phone apps instead of the browser but for now it isn't implemented but it will be :) I also want to add search by artist name but that's not for launch :) Artists working at the same location will show as just one marker until pressed and then it will split as it zooms in to more markers for the other artists, so don't forget to check those out :) As the app gets more and more filled with artists, it will start to look like a mess I think, so I have a design solution for this to be implemented at a later date, if the app does well. I started with 500 artists, some from my original map and some new but mostly ones from the original map. Gathering and researching every artists info and exact coordinates etc takes ages. I have another 300 ready to add and another 1500 artists to research and gather info for before uploading them. I have/will be adding all kinds of styles to try and cater for everyone. I have a huge list of traditional artists to add. I mean some of the ones I have found, I really do not like the style but they are well done for that type of style (I hope lol) If you guys spot any artist that you think should not be on there please also mention it below. I had so much info that I might have missed to take out some. Also the styles I don't like but they look well done to me but I am not experienced really in these styles, so again if you see in the future anyone that you don't think should be on the map, please say so in this thread :) Conventions - some have the old dates they were on and these will be changed soon as a date for them comes available but some are already available for this year. The app is free with adverts and 99p to remove them. Apart from the money to make the apps, the support fees at the moment are £300 a month just to run the app and then of the 99p Google and Apple will take 30% aswell, minus VAT as well, greedy cunts lol So for every paid download I get like 50p lol Anyhow, please let me know what you think, even if you think its shit, I want to know and wont be hurt or offended :) and how it works on your devices as we could only test it on a few handsets as I don't own every phone in the world lol So I hope it works on everyone's devices. I tested it on my phone which is a flag ship phone, so it runs super fast for me but I tested it on some cheaper phones and it was slower due to all the markers but that is to be expected I guess :) It has been made for both mobiles and tablets. I grew up with Graffiti and that shows itself in the design, it was more a personal taste thing and I wondered if it should have been made a more sterile/simplistic design like most but then thought fuck it, I want something arty and different from the generic tattoo sites lol What do you think of the Logo, marker designs etc? All and any feedback welcome :) Cheers!
  11. Sorry folks but heres the 6 monthly update on how my sleeve is holding up lol :) 2.5 years healed now and I still have not noticed any difference :)
  12. @parazitul98 Thanks SStu for the notification via mention :) That piece was done by Niki Norberg. He is super expensive and 4 year waiting list. Imo he is way way overpriced and there are many artists for this style that are better, cheaper and shorter wait times. I am pretty sure this sleeve was around the 12k euro mark from what I hear but cannot confirm but I know he is very expensive. My sleeve was half that from Dmitriy Samohin who in my eyes is miles better. From what I have seen, he heavily Photoshops and some of his healed stuff I have seen doesn't look great (some does) Personally I think he is over hyped. You have to remember anything can look great fresh and Photoshopped. You should be trying to research healed stuff by the artists and not the fresh photos like this one :) Hope this helps some :)
  13. Carried on to Italy from florian Karg to Silvano Fiato today :) What a true gentlemen and artist! Just came out from his studio. I only went to join the face to my knee but he insisted on working on me for 5 - 6 hours for free including the knee joining. He always thought the first piece I had done by him was very plain and didn't push his skill level and wanted to at least do as much with her as he possibly can. So he reworked her face some, blended it into the new piece, ready for the final piece at the back next year. Personally i liked the previous one but now that he has added more shading and depth I much prefer the new piece. Once the swelling goes down and redness it should look awesome. He went over the house in places to make it darker but he couldn't continue or put any white in her eyes, lips or house as my skin is too raw. He will see it all healed next year and add more to it. To be honest I have had enough of being tattooed, feel really drained and tired. I am going to make my new appointments for late next year and take a year out, I think my body needs it :) He didn't touch the train as he said when this settles and heals it will be the right shade. Personally I love the depth he has given her.
  14. Florian is really fast, well fastest artist I've had work on me. My idea of course didn't work lol not enough room so we had a compromise. He has never**done a spider before, so I broke his virginity. 5 hours for this but this place is so painful and sensitive. Shit pics, red raw and swollen. I personally love what he has done. The space was a lot smaller than we thought :) Tomorrow off to Silvano again!
  15. Had some more done on my front and started some on the side moob :)
  16. I like both but personally prefer for myself to stick to a rough same theme.
  17. I never tracked mine either but recently added it up. I have around 345 hours done in the last 2.5 years. This will change in the next 3 weeks and can probably add another 35 hours+
  18. Day 1 & 2 with Silvano Fiato 12 hours yesterday on this and 8 more today, still not finished. Coming back in 4 weeks time to Silvano the day after Florian to fill in the knee, do some more detail to the bottom part. He has done some very heavy saturation so that it will look great when healed. Going back next June to do the back of the calf. I love Lee Jeffries stuff so obviously we based it around his works. For those that don't know his work, link below if interested :) Lee Jeffries - https://www.google.co.uk/search?client=tablet-android-google&espv=1&sboxchip=Images&tbm=isch&q=lee+jeffries+homeless&revid=1539496463&sa=X&ei=MZAHVLbOIKbhywPamYHoCg&ved=0CB0Q1QIoAA&dpr=2&biw=600&bih=800 Sorry for the shit phone pic, Silvano will post some better ones soon.
  19. Next day after Victors pieces :) Thigh piece, around 14 hours over 2 days and it was brutal, my leg is swollen double the size lol 15 hour drive tomorrow, yay!
  20. Please try and not let me stunningly beautiful bum distract you from the artwork :) 10 hours in total, so quick quick this time and I am glad! Some of the arse is brutal, specially where the cheek meets the thigh..... Victor said doing bums is awful, the skin is too soft and for him its not a very good place to tattoo but we are happy with the results. We still have a largish gap for the centre of my bum but we will just fill that next year with just a few shaded bits and pieces. We also have the back of that thigh to do next year. Maybe add a devil horn to the devil hound. My arse is red raw and swollen so sorry for the pics. :)
