  1. Finally got a new laptop, so guess who can finally start being a part of the forum again?! It's nice to actually have a computer again
  2. So I am alive, albeit computerless for the most part, I miss being a part of this forum. Im doing well, in school and in my personal life. That guy I keep referencing is now my bf, and I am excelling in all my courses this semester. My french professor asked me to be the tutor for her class in the next few semesters... That is all :)
  3. Meh, I dont really know. I like what I have, but maybe I wouldn't get the girl on my chest, maybe back shoulder. Only because it's a big commitment to have your chest tattooed as a woman, and as much as I love it, it's hard to cover in professional clothes. Wouldn't remove the tattoo for the world though, she's a keeper.
  4. Went out with that guy I said I met a few weeks ago... Went pretty amazing. Very happy
  5. my computer has been broken for a while, so I havent been able to get on here, but I am still alive, and started school again.
  6. haha I will solve this right now with wikipedia. - - - Updated - - - and we are both right, it just so happens when I learned about it, my teacher only focused on the meanings of the flowers and other stuff. We never discussed skulls or death, only certain flowers and instruments meant certain types of sin and bad behavior
  7. I thought vanitas paintings were of fruits, flowers, luxury items, that teach a moral. At least thats what I learned in art history.
  8. She looked like an alien.... now I'm all for people getting tattooed as they please, but didn't she kind of come off as the real try hard, "look at me im so edgy with my face tattoos and bald head?" She looked like an alien, and she couldn't tattoo for shit
  9. idk if you noticed, but your statue you liked is also in the video

    Yoga

@iowagirl and cltattooing, I do know how good it feels to stretch.... Like everything becomes so loose and fluid. I used to be able to do the splits all ways, do roll throughs and pancakes... definitely considering going back now... this thread does pique my interest
  11. Incidentally, I am a hygiene freak when I get tattooed.. I already wash my hands quite a bit, but it gets out of hand when I get a tattoo.
  12. I need to get my hands on one of those... one of the best smells in the world.
  13. Damn, with some of those names you rattled off, I felt like I was in my Art History class again
  14. It's hard to say what inspires me. I've always liked tattoos that look like tattoos, and I'm really really into lady head tattoos. I don't draw images from what I see in the real world, I see stuff I like in flash, something that someone else has tattooed, a book I've read or like for my ganesh, a statue I owned. Also, draw inspiration from the things that I like. Always been a fan of the night sky, with the moon and stars. Ever since I was a little girl. So bam, got a lady with a moon, and with a star in her hair. It's really that simple for me.

    Yoga

Yoga interests me, but I am honestly, truly to fat for it. Would love to do it if I slimmed down some, I danced in high school for 4 years, and even though I was pretty much the same weight then, I was super flexible because of it. It made my body feel great. The only downside is, about dance and becoming flexible and skilled like that, is that they never tell you how your body feels when you stop. I cramp alot easier now, my body hurts in places it used to be super flexible, especially when it gets cold. I've also got a nice pulled hamstring, that while it's back to normal, and I got it back to being flexible after I hurt it, still hurts me to this day, in certain situations. Maybe yoga would help me with that, who knows?
  16. I did a drier heal on my leg, still used the aquaphor, but not as much or as often... it was nice, in comparison to my ankle, healed alot quicker, though there are a few tiny little dots where the color fell out, barely noticeable, you'd only see it if you were looking for it. Thats kind of my fault, I picked at it once or twice in a moment of weakness. I think I'm going to stick to a drier heal, but not completely dry with only a little lotion like you guys. My skin isn't built for that, it needs consistant moisture
  17. going to jury duty for the first time today... will report back later to see if I am still alive. Everyone's told me it's a terrible, terrible thing. Not excited
  18. Please tell me you're joking? :) If not, you should look at a few of the stickies in the general tattoo forum. It'll help you understand our opinions
  19. What do you do there? Maybe I'll run into you sometime
  20. tats or gfto Lol, but seriously, welcome!
  21. If that was my child, I would beat the breaks off of him. Like seriously? He ruined that expensive car, plus all the other cars she has to pay to fix. Little fucking idiot. Damn you @CultExciter, making me rage over here.
  22. I've only ever had to get one touch up, and it was tiny. One of the letters in my banner, one of the lines fell out. So when I went and had my moon lady done, the guy who did it was asked the guy who did the moon lady tattoo to touch it up. That was it.
  23. I think I met someone, he's pretty nice, not sure where this is going, but enjoying myself for now :)
