  1. Usually when I get tattooed it represents my free time or time with the guys. Even at the shop our wives don't really come around except when we have events at the shop. From time to time our wives or their friends want to get tattooed and even then our wives only sometimes show up with them. Our wives like tattoos just not in the same way we do and I think they get that. On the flip side when on vacation I have never heard my wife complain about being dragged to whatever tattoo shop happens to be in that city and sometimes even decides she wants to get tattooed. I don't know if I would feel the same way about tattoos if there wasn't this balance of it being my own thing and something I share.

Sounds like a good balance. My husband is not nearly as into tattoos as I am, but he is far more than the average person! He loves conventions, doesn't mind checking out shops either. It's something I love being able to share with him, because he is my best friend. I love spending time with him. No one else I would rather be around, and luckily he feels the same. :)

  2. My wife has not and I doubt will not be tattooed but we share other passions together and I would never think about being or not being with someone based on tattoos providing they were cool with me getting tattooed

That's good you guys share other interests! My point is, tattoos are

Tattoos are one of my biggest passions, so sharing that with my sinificant other is important! it would be a lot less fun to go to conventions without him, or with him if he was not into it.

  3. I feel like I could not be with someone who was not tattooed. The reason being, I want to be with someone who shares my passion for getting, and being tattooed. I would not know what to do if we didn't share that interest. Luckily my husband loves my tattoos, and is getting more tattooed all the time. He is really starting an amazing collection.

  4. I think the wrap method is good for an experienced tattoo collector. certainly not for the average one.

one of my artists recommended the method to me about 6 years ago and I have been using it since. I have never healed better. I have very sensitive skin in general, so many lotions can cause issue for me while healing. The wrap method allows my body to heal itself without any outside irritants. I love it.

  5. We did 2 sessions in 2 days on my chestpiece, about 10 hours each day. It really sucked, but was worth it. If traveling I think it an be worthwhile if you know your bodies limits. I know 2 days is good for me. I have been tattooed 3 days at a convention a few times but the third day is always awful.

  6. I am a collector for sure! Can't imagine sticking to just one artist when there are so many talented ones out there!

Some artists who have added to my collection are:

    Juan Salgado

    Nick Baxter

    Gabriel Cece

    Jime Litwalk

    Scot Winskye

    Scotty Munster

    Kritel Oreto

    Paulo Acuna

    Jeff Gogue

    Jeremy Miller

    Robbie Bauer

    Conan Lea

    Tim Pangburn

    Joe Capobianco

    Sean Peters

    Michele Wortman

  7. I'm a fat woman covered in tattoos. I think if you want to get tattooed do it. Who cares what other people think anyway? My friend, and tattoo artist Kristel Oreto and I have started a page dedicated to fat women with tattoos. We are just as awesome as any other woman with tattoos.

Not to mention, I think my tattoos make me so much more comfortable with my body. Or at least I feel better about myself. :)

  8. Hello everyone!

I have been collecting tattoos for about 15 years now, and absolutely LOVE being a tattooed woman! I have collected probably around 200 hours worth of work from many different artists. Love going to conventions, and traveling to get tattooed.

this looks like a great place for like minded people! Can't wait to talk to you all more!
