  1. the most "dangerous" part is you will want more tattoos and are likely to spend all your money on prints and tshirts.
  2. Kevin LeBlanc at White Lotus in Toms River
  3. Thanks! Compared to normal skin the scar almost feels numb when it is getting tattooed.
  4. Welcome! I have a similar scar from spinal fusion surgery too! currently working on a full backpiece that happens to cover it. Feel free to ask questions in this thread. Who is the artist you are working with?
  5. if you use the word "trousers" i think you've given up on being cool :) i've used an ace bandage to cover a new tattoo when wearing shorts in warm sunny weather, worked pretty well and didn't interfere with healing
  6. played around with the app for a bit but needs a lot more artists added. Cool idea though.
  7. I guess I'll join in on the sharing fun (even though most of you have already seen this on Mike's instagram). Progress from my session at Pagoda City Tattoo Fest: About 31 hours total so far. So maybe we are about 1/2 done?
  8. @cltattooing congratulations on surviving the most challenging part (I dont know about everyone else but for me lining was a terribly challenging experience)
  9. I'm a big wimp and have been paying with credit card lately. As a 6'4" ~200lb white male I feel like I am an easy target. When I do use cash it is tightly balled up in a sweaty fist in my pocket.
  10. @suburbanxcore we should've had a staring contest. shirtless.
  11. Jeb Riley is a great artist. Also check out Jason Louie at Ironworks also in portsmouth. And Kyle Harrison at Hidden History in Dover NH.
  12. @BrooklynDude Matt Bagwell at Kings Ave does awesome black & grey
  13. sounds like it is going to be a great tattoo! which artist did you decide on going to?
  14. I thought "looks like a sticker" was a compliment? Example "that tattoo is so clean, crisp, and bold it looks like a sticker"
  15. sounds like the beginning an unplanned back piece
  16. The excellent US to Canadian dollar exchange rate should make it an easy decision for everyone in the US to make this trip.
  17. @Graeme my guess is the re-outlining is usually done on pieces where the original outline is 3-4 or more years old by the time it is finished. good incentive for getting it wrapped up as fast as possible.
  18. I'll be there on the Friday trying not to cry while Mike tattoos my back (most likely the rib area). Hoping the convention atmosphere will help time move faster.
  19. I'll be there getting tattoo by Henning. Looking forward to hanging out.
