    Welcome! I have a similar scar from spinal fusion surgery too! currently working on a full backpiece that happens to cover it. Feel free to ask questions in this thread. Who is the artist you are working with?

    if you use the word "trousers" i think you've given up on being cool :) i've used an ace bandage to cover a new tattoo when wearing shorts in warm sunny weather, worked pretty well and didn't interfere with healing

    I'm a big wimp and have been paying with credit card lately. As a 6'4" ~200lb white male I feel like I am an easy target. When I do use cash it is tightly balled up in a sweaty fist in my pocket.

    @Graeme my guess is the re-outlining is usually done on pieces where the original outline is 3-4 or more years old by the time it is finished. good incentive for getting it wrapped up as fast as possible.
