About 31 hours total so far. So maybe we are about 1/2 done?

Happens to me and I think it is caused by "razor burn" from getting the area shaved.

I've heard not filling the eyes in until the end is a way to motivate flaky clients into returning for future appointments.

Thou shalt get good tattoos.

You would think it would make more sense business-wise to pay extra attention to the tattoo newbies who walk into the shop with lots of empty skin (like myself) because if you provide them with a good experience they will keep coming back for more work.

Mental toughness, maturity, and a sense of humor are required.

Your scratches are terrible.

Because it is embarrassing.

Do you have plans to get tattoos from a professional? Australia has a lot of artists that I'd love to get work from.

Is the tattoo funny or is he asking for an impossible cover-up?
I have no personal experience with shops in London. But the key is to go to a reputable and professional shop. Has he visited any of the shops (Black Garden and Family Business) you've been tattooed at? or places like Frith Street, Seven Doors, or Modern Classic?

I'd love to see some of your designs.

All the questions have already been answered elsewhere on this forum. It is pretty easy to take some time to search and read the abundance of information here. It is frustrating when new users are too impatient to research their own questions. Tattoos aren't for everyone. If you can't talk to a tattoo artist and ask simple questions they probably aren't for you.
And as has said above this question is so variable that it is pointless to answer.

I'd say, if that shop posts an opening for a shop assistant... apply! it doesn't matter how much you wanna work at the shop if they don't need you.
in the meantime, keep getting tattooed there!
