I'm trying to plan my 3rd arm tattoo around this and my bird and it's been a challenge. I sometimes wish I'd thought ahead a little more with the placement but I'm sure the tattoo artist I choose will able to come up with something.

I got this one from Nikki Balls when she passed through The Pearl in Toronto a couple of summers ago.

And+1 to weird gaps...had Paul Dobleman do a Dietzel design (snake around skinny dagger) on the back of the wells arm. Not sure what I'm gonna do with the other yet.

RHW inner bicep crew. It was a pretty dumb choice to get this as my second tattoo, given how uncomfortable the location turned out to be/how badly I sat.
The only thing with covering your inner and outer bicep with one largeish tattoo each is that you then have that weird back-of-the-arm area to fill. Thank goodness for snakes, daggers, torches...

It turns out that it's really difficult to take pictures of your inner biceps but here are mine. The skull is from Ron Henry Wells and the Haeckel mandala type deal is from Thomas Hooper. I am glad I don't have to get that part of my body tattooed anymore.

Just got this one from Mike Fite at the Baltimore Tattoo Convention. Picture lifted from his instagram.

I flew across the country twice for my thigh tattoo. Both times I was pretty wiped out the day of the appointment, kept it low key that evening, but the next day I was good to walk around and sight-see and such. And I'm not so tough :) so I'm sure you'll be fine!!

@beez Absolutely incredible!! You must be so stoked with it!!

Progress shot....pretty much finished the top half.

@bongsau - Shad is super nice, and SO FAST! We got that snake done in 4 HOURS! 4!!!! Outline, shading, color!!! He does use bactine, as you mentioned, and that helps so much. He said he is going to be up in Canada, so I hope you get in to see him!
This was a really painful session, all in all. The upper back is like hot fire. Not fun! I am so stoked to get to this point in my tattoo, though, and I can't wait to continue the collaboration. We were talking about a dragon on the rest of the back of my legs looking up at the snakes. !!!!
Anyway, for those who might have missed it on IG, here is my new snake!
