  1. I think most people here will think it's just a waste of good real estate.
  2. I got my second tattoo a week after my first. A little black and grey wolf head. I was convinced it wasn't great despite the fact it really was. I asked a very old school tattooer in another shop to cover it with the red hot chili peppers logo and he sternly explained to me that the tattoo was very well done and he wouldn't cover it. 25 years later I am thankful for his gruff advice and adamant refusal and realize how completely off base I was. Just because a certain detail doesn't look 100% dead on doesn't mean it isn't a good tattoo. Super glad I left it alone since I really can't stand the chili peppers at all anymore.
  3. Good for them that you can now zoom in on Instagram or I wouldn't be able to tell what half of them even are
  4. Agreed with what has been said here! You are new to this and are expecting something that doesn't exist. Your tattoos are great! I was admiring them earlier and am surprised at this post. Well not too surprised because a lot of folks go through this over analyzation when they first dip their toe into this world. You have some really nice pieces. Stop over analyzing them and enjoy them. Nothing wrong with any of them. Your expectations are unrealistic. Not trying to be a jerk. A lot of us were like that at first. Please do not waste any energy worrying about them or trying to cover them. They look great.
  5. Nice!!! I don't see any areas that need touching up. Those little bits of "blowout" will 99% likely fade away to nothing. I Love the tattoo. Enjoy it. Don't worry about the tiny stuff. It was made by a human not a robot. Nothing here to worry about!
  6. If lanolin fades tattoos then why aren't folks using that stuff to remove tattoos or at least lighten them. I'd love to see the info on that.
  7. This happens all the time. Tons of bars and restaurants display "no colors allowed" signs. Funny thing is I've never seen any of the club members protesting or crying to their local news station about it.
  8. Yes ask your tattooer but my forearms and hands were swollen for about a week after getting tattooed. Advil and ice are your friend. As long as it's not hot / throbbing / seeping greenish fluid / or red you are probably fine. But always ask your tattooer if you are uncertain
  9. You WILL bruise. But that goes away and it's totally worth it pics attached were from my latest from Chad on the inside of the bicep. Taken the day after and under tegaderm.
  10. Yes!!! Awesome!! Have my chest done by him and I will agree it was BRUTAL! Congrats on doing this in one shot!
  11. @Vix35 have you seen this lady's white tattoo recently? White does not last well on its own, and honestly in my opinion will eventually look like a scar or some sort of skin issue. If you dislike your tattoo and don't want to cover it with something MUCH larger, you can opt to have it lasered off. Expensive and painful. Or do what dan suggested. A very good idea in my opinion
  12. Did any of you read her post? She's not looking to cover them nor is she insecure about them. @Jamie the best bet is to talk to a tattooer about your idea. If you let us know where you live, someone here can point you to a great black and grey artist who can work with you and let you know if your idea will work.
  13. @BrokenTV sounds like you are doing well. It's only 4 days old. Didnt you mention you had tegaderm on it? How long did you keep the tegaderm on? Did your tattooer tell you to use aquafor after removing the Tegaderm? No scabbing is a GOOD thing. No itchiness is a plus. But again, it's 4 days old. Sounds like you are healing well. Would love to see a pic.
  14. Welcome. You can ask your question here
  15. I'm sure it'll turn out just fine. @polliwog all of your other tattoos look like they healed great. Just be patient. (Advice I give but never follow myself)
  16. It does happen all the time. I agree that yours is from a flash sheet and I also agree that yours is the much better if the 2. Here is an example that I thought was just a bit much. Not that anyone owns the rose tattoo, but the timing / size / and placement seemed a little copy cat-ish. Guess which one I like better?
  17. Never! Your posts are always awesome. I hate healing tattoos. Tegaderm makes it a little better cause you don't really have to do anything. But the day you have to take the tegaderm off is stressful as can be. It hurts, ya gotta go really slow, and honestly you just have no idea what the heck it's gonna look like under there. You just cross your fingers and hope that the 3M company comes through and doesn't let you down.
  18. A panther is a panther. Pink or black you'll never go back.
  19. @Devious6 your eagle looks great! Who did it? I apologize if that's been covered already and I just missed it.

    Hello!

This is a great and extremely cost efficient way to fix. Pretty clever.
  21. Ha ha ha. @oboogie i can't imagine i would do a good job with it. So much easier to have a tattooer do it. Doesn't even need to be the same tattooer, just one that says "sure, I'll do it".
