the spidermurphy book is a great treat. there are a lot of great ones out there, but i got on this sight hoping to realy corispond with people and hope that people are willing to trade flash that they have made. i dont mean originals, but copies. if anybody wants to trade hit me up i have a ton of original stuff no money just trade copies.

i wouldnt say i regret any of them, but at times i do think i could have planned placement a little better. and as ive got older and my taste in what makes a good tattoo has changed a bit i wonder what i could have had done with more experience. but i love them all the same, well except for the ones i did 14 years ago. dont get pin and ink tattoos.

i have a long ways to go before im done, but i have nothing but big tattoos lined out so i want to get those done before i do my neck or face. im not sure if i want to tattoo my face, im the only one at our shop who doesnt have a face tattoo. i think if you arent sure if you want to tattoo those areas dont, even if its the crediting trend now. to me places of the body are very important realestate and the hands neck or face are those areas where if you get it done make sure its done by a qualified artist. i hate shity neck face and hand tattoos get it done right we all have to look at that shit.

you should talk to your tattoo artist first. the problem i see is that a lot of people are alergic to red due to all red (tattoo pigment, paint,ect) is all based on shell fish for the red. if you are alergic to see food such as shell fish you shouldnt get tattoos with red in them. red body paint or use of iodine are also good clues that you would be alergic to the red. the issue u will have is your body will continue to try to reject the color till its gone. you could use lazer treatment to speed this up. its not an infected tattoo its an alergy to the pigment. but you should speak to the person who did the tattoo.

i tell people who bring in reference on their phone 2 print it cause i cant trace that small and they look at me like im dumb, when they ask me if i can look it up is say the internet is down the i go 2 the back and look it up, trace it and ask if its close, but i might change something in the pic just 2 get my kicks. but the worst is kids with out supervision. u cant bring your shitty kid to the tattoo area and get them the fuck off my pool table, so i say the kids can wait outside. the best is aaron coleman's shop it says absolutley no children not because he doesnt like kids but because they have shit parents who think a tattoo shop is a free for all. i dont want 2 hear your crying shit bag kids leave them at home or bring someone 2 watch them out front and control them

the rock of ages is a very old desgin that always looks great, ive done a lot of variations of it in paintings but i live in kansas not many people get that good stuff here so if you get to do it do it up

i think that a tattoo artist with no tattoos or just a few tattoos is odd and it shows me that maybe they think exposed tattoos are not good for life choices. that being said that doesnt mean they arent good artist, look at jess smith he is a great tattooer if u like his style or not, but i have more trust and connection with an exposed tattoo tattooer. but thats just me. just look at the work they have done and make your own choice. also getting covered with tattoos is awsome!

this is a hard subject. they look great and it takes a good talent to make them look legit, but i have seen top notch color portrait artis and artist that do "hyper realism" whos work looks bad in 5 years. if the client and the artist are both fully aware of what they are doing and getting into then its ok. there will be a lot of people with bad color blobs sooner than they should, but at the same time if not for the realism guys we might not push the quality level our tools. its all a double edge sword but there is a difference in good tattooing and responsable tattooing. also im not being a dick just be informed and inform then have a great time.

i just did a grimreaper fish going for a worm that says catch your death. havent done the tattoo but the painting is cool. boobies on a candy wraper that says mouth candy. unicorn snake, also i did a zippo with a tiger leg comming out where the fire should be. fun tattoos are fun

heavy black just not to far so it doesnt take away from the rest, simple colors are good doesnt look like adding a crazy one off color will add to the tattoo, but the direction i would take that is to the bank cause it looks like money. good job man

the dagger threw the neck is an awsome tattoo that has been done a lot, but thats only because its kick ass. hope you get it!

a great artist for lady heads is Mando rascon from imaculate tattoo in mesa az thats aaron coleman's shop. worth it to check him out and he is a realy good guy

hello everybody, I'm chase wheeler from salina ks at super charged tattoo. i've been lurking around this site for a long time and just finaly joined. i mostly like traditional tattoos and make a ton of flash. if anyone want to trade some flash i like traking threw the mail. to me thats more personal than email and its always fun to get stuff in the mail. i will post pics of tattoos and flash soon, but i have to get to work. have a good day everbody and be safe.
