  1. Got a new one yesterday, done by Valerie Vargas at Modern Classic from some Ed Hardy flash.
  2. Booked in with Valerie Vargas for an Ed Hardy tiger head in early September.
  3. At last my koi with Japanese maple sleeve is finished and pretty much fully heeled. The work was done by Mo Coppoletta from the Family Business in London, done in seven sessions between December and May. Pictures also posted on the May tattoo contest thread elsewhere on this forum.
  4. Ok, I'll play, though it is a tough month on this thread once again with lots of superb entries already. My sleeve has recently been finished and has nearly healed, the work was done by Mo Copoletta at The Family Business in London, it took seven three hour sessions which between December and May. I have already posted a few in progress shots but this is the finished product.

  12. Further work in progress, nearly finished, koi and Japanese maple leaves by Mo Coppoletta from The Family Business in London ...
  13. Several people took one look at the entry from @lving4today and decided "think I will save my entry until May's contest".
  14. Work in progress, I have now had five three hour sessions with Mo Coppoletta at The Family Business working on a three quarter sleeve koi, he coloured the koi in yesterday. Probably one or two more sessions to go now.
  15. I have my next appointment with Mo this Thursday, it will be the fifth session (of six) on my koi three quarter sleeve. All the outline and shading has been done and now it is time to start on the colours.
  16. I currently have a three quarter sleeve in progress, from Mo Coppoletta at The Family Business in London, it is Japanese style with koi and autumnal Japanese Maple leaves. So far I have had four three hour sessions, all the outline and black shading is complete, I have two further sessions booked up (one mid March and one in early April) to complete the colour work. There are a few pictures which were taken after the second session on another thread: http://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/general-tattoo-discussion/15-latest-tattoo-lowdown-page297.html#post57495 In time I think I would like my other arm to have a design made up of several palm sized traditional western style images, loosely themed around exploration/travel, filled in with roses or grapevines along with few small fillers. My first thought towards this would be a lady head in the style of a twenties female aviator (along the lines of Amelia Earhart or Amy Johnson), if I go with this idea I will probably go to Valerie Vargas. I am also thinking about a cheetah head on one of my knees, surrounded by pike lettering which reads "heart full of napalm" (a references to a Stooges lyric). And, and, and, the list is endless.
  17. Knees and big cats are made for one another. I am tempted to get a cheetah head on my knee, below it a heart containing the word 'napalm' written in pike lettering (a reference to a stooges lyric).
  18. I like that. Hmmm, maybe I don't need to wait until my current work is finished before starting the next one.
  19. Thanks, feel free to use it. If I go ahead with getting it done I will go to Valerie Vargas from Frith Street, thinking it will be in the elbow ditch of my right arm. Need to wait until my koi sleeve is finished first, next appointment is 28th February.
  20. I'm considering a lady's head in the style of a 20's female aviator, something like Amy Johnston or Amelia Earheart, from a similar era to the flappers.
  21. I feel your pain, I am in the process of my first ditch heal. Ditch is a bitch.
  22. This is how it looked after the second session: - - - Updated - - - This is how it looked after the second session:
  23. Just had the third session on my Koi sleeve from Mo Coppoletta at the Family Business, lots of black shading done today. He reckons probably three more sessions to go.
  24. Thanks, it's covering a pair of comedy and tragedy masks that I got about twenty years ago, they weren't particularly good when they were first done and haven't aged well.
  25. Is this the right thread for work in progress? I am in the process of getting a koi with maple leaves three quarter sleeve which is being done by Mo Coppoletta from The Family Business, so far I have had two three hour sessions, pretty much all the outline has now been finished. Apologies for the poor quality of the pictures, they were taken with a phone, one handed over my shoulder ...
