Just got a wee elbow banger from Franz Stefanik

Little Oni I picked up from Chad Koeplinger today. Super stoked on it.

Done in one hour flat. Such a beassssst.

I'm getting tattooed by Chad Kopelinger this month. Super stoked.

I'm still not 100% sure what I want from him; there's so many things that he does well, it's a tough choice.

Tim Pausinger did my entire outer bicep in 2 hours flat.

I personally got my first tattoos at 16. I don't regret them nearly 10 years later, but with that being said, I still think the legal age should be 18. I could probably even make an argument for 21.

Thoughts?

I've been dry-healing for the last few years, but we moved to Seattle at the beginning of fall and my wife and I got tattooed in the middle of winter. The Ultra Cold (compared to the Bay Area, anyways) was a motherfucker and the scabs kept cracking open and it wouldn't heal until I started applying lotion/Aquafor two-to-three times per day.

Anyone have similar problems?

this has definitely been a problem for me in the winter. I live in toronto, and it gets cold as shit here. scabs form and start to crack badly.

I hate putting lotion on thicker scabs, but it seems to be the only way to stop the cracking and let it heal.

deposits are definitely necessary IMO, i think $50-100 is fair depending on the size of the tattoo. For some reason a lot of people who get tattoos seem to be flaky as fuck for some reason lol

Nice one! I am super excited to watch Alex Snelgrove grow as a tattooer because while she's putting on great tattoos right now, I think as she tattoos more and gets more experience she is going to be really amazing. She is such an incredible artist and her handpokes are completely ridiculous. There's a handpoked portrait on her instagram that is better than what I've seen a lot of people do with a machine.

My girlfriend(of 3 years) has no tattoos, but is completely supportive. She even gets excited when i go to get more work done haha

She wants to get a couple herself, but hasnt taken the plunge yet.....one day.
