  1. Shins sucked, but the worst was the tailbone just above the ass crack. I felt like I was levitating off the table whenever that spot got hit!
  2. I saw Judge numerous times and they just aren't that exciting to me. Strife and Bane, well let's just say I like them even less than Judge.
  3. After my first treatment on my leg I had some crazy blisters. I also had serious swelling which tends to be worse closer to the extremities. I can confirm putting them on is a lot less trouble then taking them off.
  4. Like I posted on Facebook - I'M FED UP (with all these reunion shows!)
  5. Wear loose clothes, and start doing squats now. You'll want to be able to take a dump while holding yourself up over the toilet seat!
  6. Met with Horitomo on Saturday to discuss my chest/rib piece. Looking like we are going to cover my whole front side with Fujin and a tiger. Hopefully will start around May!
  7. This is a timely thread for me. I've just started to get back into weight training after a long, long hiatus. In my 20's I was a pretty serious lifter. In my 30's I had a number of injuries, started a family, etc.. and basically got lazy and out of shape. So I'm entering my 40's now and want to get back into shape. I like the look of the Dan John 40 day workouts. You guys think that is a good program to jump right into it? It seems to me like it could be good for easing back into since you are working out at "easier" weights. - - - Updated - - - This is a timely thread for me. 8. @David Flores - he is a super nice guy. Always a pleasant experience getting tattooed by him. And that is saying something considering some of the pain he has inflicted upon me.
  9. I saw Black Flag on their last tour in 86. It was one of the biggest disappointments in my life. I can only imagine this will be worse. Though if I had to pick I'd go see the Morris/Dukowski version as Ginn is a prick.
  10. Not sure if you guys have seen the Thom Devita interview but he talks about getting his back done by Huck a bit. Apparently Huck flipped out when Thom wanted to do it that size and it took a bit of coaxing to get him to do the tattoo.
  11. Here is a pic of my wife's chest (shhh don't tell her I posted it ;) ). Her right side by Trevor McStay and her left side by Jason Kundell. They are my favorites!
  12. @Graeme, I'm going to have Horitomo work on my ribs and upper legs. I've already gotten work from Jason Kundell, Trevor McStay, Henning Jorgensen, Dana Hellmuth, and Tim Lehi that I'll have him tie into. Have a few more guys I want to get pieces from as well. Thanks for the welcome!
  13. Nice Ian! I've been on Grime's list for a while. Hopefully I'll get a call sooner than later.
  14. Just realized I hadn't posted an introduction yet, so here it goes. I'm originally from the east coast, but have lived around San Francisco for a bit over 10 years now. Got a bunch of tattoos in my youth, took a long break, and am now working on a Japanese influenced body suit. Looking forward to some good discussion as the quality of information here seems much, much better than what you'd find elsewhere on the net regarding tattoos!
  15. This Saturday I'm meeting with Horitomo to get some work started. I have a few ideas and hopefully one will rise to the top after talking them over with him.
  16. Hey guys, I just joined the forum and figured I'd kick things off by posting my in progress back piece. Jason Kundell is doing the work, though things have slowed a bit since he moved from SF to Portland. Hope to wrap things up in the next year and then it's time to get back into shape!
