  7. Welcome and Good Luck on your journey! Becoming a tattoo artist is both hard and rewarding. You will get out what you put in! I hope to hear and see more about your journey in the future.
  8. Over 35 yrs. of smoking, sometimes 2 packs a day. I quit on 9-19-2012 (International Talk Like a Pirate Day) with the help of auroculotherapy (ear zap). I haven't smoked since but I have gained about 20lbs.! I now view myself as a non-smoker not a quiter.
  9. Man I'm old! I don't know what a hipster is, I remember whip shading flash with a ball point pen and I know that "helvetica" is an old type face that has no serifs.
  10. IMO the best result for a full sleeve is to design and plot out the complete piece before you even start. Getting the tattoo is the easiest part. Don't rush to get ink if you really want coverage.
  11. You are a rock! I wish more of my clients had the dedication and stones you have. You ended up with an excellent tattoo also!
  12. Hello Everyone, I'm new to LST so let me introduce myself! I'm 51 yrs. young and have been tattooing since the "make your own needles" days. I ride a Harley, drink beer and love a great joke. I put on the Big Red Suit every December and portray Santa Claus for Charity. I love all kinds of art, mostly tattoo, illustration, cartooning, leather and sign painting. I've been in the industry for 26 yrs. now and because of that I can be a little hard headed and oppinionated at times. I work with 2 other artists in a shop that has been in the same location for 20 yrs. I helped apprentice the owner in the early 90's and we both trained our newest artist ( my son! ) together. We have a lot of fun and make new friends of our clients every day! Our shop name is "The Ultimate Art Form Tattoo Studio" and we do our best to live up to it. If you got this far, Thanks for reading! Jimbo Rahmberg
