Fort Collins was a cool little town. Curtis blazed through our crab-turtle-Ray so I had a ton of time to cruise around.

Done by Matt Cowell at House of Tattoo, Tacoma. A super cool guy that I am lucky to have got to know over the year process. Hours on end talking about our kids, our lives growing up, music, and our love for the regular show.

Had a great 2 day experience at Off The Map Nw this week. Henrik was amazing, and everyone at the shop was super nice. This pic is just after the first day, will have finished pics soon :)

They were fresh at the time. I eventually want to get that calf filled in with something fun, but that's a ways down the road.

My 9 year old daughter, after learning how much her grandmother hates tattoos, told me, "well, that's her problem then."

June 22nd, and I gave him the options of either a T-Rex with boxing gloves, a grim goat reaper with tons of eyes, or a velociraptor Buddha.  I'm looking forward to seeing my friends down there and avoiding the fire ants!

Maybe she'll broaden her horizons and get different work, maybe not. It is still okay for her to be happy with what she has though.

So here is the remainder. Kongo Yasha Myo-o in his full glory from Dana Helmuth.
This was pretty much the home stretch at this point. Once all the shading was done, the color was only about 1/3 of the remaining time I spent with Dana.
I love Dana's snakes. Once mine got colored in, I couldn't stop staring at it, I still can't. Also everyone loves the blue, and so do I. It's bold, and it'll be awesome for a long time.
I spent a lot of time at Read Street Tattoo in Baltimore and it was a great shop. The final session was in Dana's tattoo lair at his home in Maryland and it's a true honor to be a member of his back piece club.

If you have the image already, it is really your journey to figure out where you want the tattoo. Good advice has already been given.
If you aren't inspired to put it on a particular body part, it might be best to wait until it's a more decisive decision.

I thought "looks like a sticker" was a compliment? Example "that tattoo is so clean, crisp, and bold it looks like a sticker"
