  1. Going to the NLCS! Wow. It has taken me 8 years to get over the depression related to the 2002 World Series. But the Giants are ready to make a comeback. Game 4 of the NLDS was torture. Wait, lemme rephrase that. The entire SERIES was torture. The anxiety from game 4 was so high that I was unable to sleep, just thinking of the upcoming series vs. The Phillies. Game 1 on Saturday promises to be one of few hits, even less runs, and more torture and anxiety. It's Halliday vs. Lincecum aka The Freak. One just pitched a no hitter and the other a 2 hitter. Talk about stellar pitching. What we can definitely count on are beards running amuck (Fear the Beard). And if you think Brian Wilson is a nut, just watch this interview of him on Jim Rome (go Gauchos!) is Burning. http://www.burnmonkeyburn.com/2010/09/giants-brian-wilson-on-jim-rome-is.html The Sucka Free is about to show Philly how we roll! Go Giants!!!
  2. Tell me about it! I always looked at her as someone to emulate. Oh well, I still have Snookie.
  3. Kelly Osbourne: Why I'm Removing Most of My 15 Tattoos Credit: Frazer Harrison/Getty Images Wednesday – October 06, 2010 – 5:21pm Comments (11) » Kelly Osbourne isn't done reinventing herself! The slimmed down star -- who recently told Us Weekly about how she's managed to keep off almost 50 pounds after a year -- plans to get most of her 15 tattoos removed. Osbourne, 25, announced her decision to undergo laser tattoo removal in her weekly column for British magazine Closer (as reported in The Daily Mail.) PHOTOS: Celebs' weird body art She had her revelation recently while shooting the flick Should've Been Romeo, when makeup artists covered up the ink. "I can't say I missed them!" she wrote. "I met with my dermatologist and I'll start the laser treatment as soon as I have time," the Dancing with the Star alum said. The erasure process won't be short and painless, either. "It will take several months, and while I'm not looking forward to the pain, I've heard it hurts less than getting the tattoo," Osbourne wrote. "I hope so!" PHOTOS: Kelly's amazing body transformation She doesn't hate all of her tattoos, Osbourne explained. "Some still have a special meaning, like the matching ones my brother Jack and I have of each other's names, but now I feel like some were a mistake." Last year, Osbourne told British talk show This Morning that getting inked was "my way of self harming, because I really knew it would upset my mum and dad," she admitted of parents Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne. PHOTOS: How other stars went from hot mess to hotness "I was miserable and I just went and got all these tattoos and I don't know why. One of them is a keyboard and I don't even know how to play a piano!" She added: "As you get older, you realize that you don't want to be defined by your tattoos, because that's not the type of person that I am."
  4. One of my favorite meals this year had to be at Ad Hoc in Napa. It is the famed Thomas Kellers latest venture and it is definitely worthy of his reputation. It is a prix fixe meal for $49 and it is worth every penny. You start out with an appetizer, then entree, then cheese course and then dessert. Everything is served family style and you can even ask for seconds! It is comfort food with fresh, locally sourced ingredients including vegetables from The French Laundry garden! Mondays are known to have his famous buttermilk fried chicken. If you are in Napa, you have to go. But try to make resos a month in advance as this place is small and books out well in advance. Since there are too many restaurants to cover in one post, I shall bless this thread with a new restaurant every week! Stay tuned!!!
  5. I need a kitten dressed as a frog

  6. I am happiest when I am traveling the world, preferably a place with beaches, hot weather and of course, delicious food! Last year I went everywhere- Hawaii, Tampa ( for the Superbowl, not just to hang out!), St Barths, Anguilla, St Maarten, Aspen, Vancouver, Santa Barbara, Las Vegas and Miami. This year has been less exciting, just making it to Cabo and New Orleans. Here is a list of my top 5: St Barths Paris Vietnam New Orleans Venice If haven't noticed by now, I am a bit of a Francophile and if a place has French influence, I am sold!
