i took the week off to go to the cottage and breath some fresh air and relax. recently i did the Warrior dash(5km mud race with obstacles) it was so amazing and im hooked! i want to eventually work my way up to Tough Mudder!
im new to running-been doing it for fun for the last year- and im training pretty hard for a half marathon coming up this fall!
oh and how could i forget in a couple weeks in going skydiving!! its easy to back out of something big like this but im organizing a group to go with and they will keep me from backing out! hahahaha
holy !! all of that sounds so awesome. I also really want to do tough mudder someday. My boyfriends sister did it and she cant wait to go back.

This is cute! Donkeys are hilarious.

Seems a bit staged to me, but the ink they show, fake or real is still pretty neat. Worth a watch if you're looking for ideas :)

that's cool! I like the deep colours opposed to super bright ones. Its more exotic :) awesome.

Some progress on my frontpiece with my boss, Josh Cruse. Did about three hours of color in the snake all around my chest and belly. I have another sitting in two weeks, but I'll probably hold off on posting anything until we get it all done... after it's healed and settled, we'll touch up anything that needs it and add some pattern work in that minty green stripe on the snake.I really like the colour choice in the snake. great piece.

Honestly, I want the tattoo to lean more towards pushing through the struggle and focusing on happiness. So, happiness is the main focus. I also really don't like how over-done "everything happens for a reason" is. but that's just me.
Thanks for the input. ill reconsider the length :)

Hey,
So I'm fairly young and have a decent idea of what I want so I'd like some advice. I've spent a lot of time thinking about it, drew it myself, and I'm almost certain I wont regret it,there is a lot of personal meaning behind it, but albeit I am young, so let me know if you think different!
The words beside the girl say:
Happiness is not the absence of struggle. It is one's ability to learn, grow and trust that everything happens for a reason.

Hello! So this is my second intro post, but ive taken my original idea and reworked it, Just would like some feedback. Basically, the body drawings are rough sketches, of course the feathers would be done better and the little girl would look more like the one in the pic with the long quote. The quote ive shortened to "happiness is not the absence of struggle". There's a ton of meaning behind every inch of this design and I could explain it, but really im just looking for feedback on the tattoo aesthetically. Im planning on keeping it all black ink, but if you think colour would look nice somewhere, let me know! This will be my first tattoo so all the feedback is appreciated greatly. Keep in mind these are rough sketches and my artist (who I met today!! :D ) will be drawing it out more nicely. Im likely going to have to break it up into pieces and do it over the course of the year because of cost, opposed to squeezing it into a month or two. As far as pricing goes, what do you guys think? I just want to get a few more quotes before I commit to this shop. Thanks a million!
cant get photos to upload on post.. check out my gallery :)
