    Help with Design

You can do it diagonally in half. so that it was the stars and some stripes on the top left corner and then the bottom right corner of her flag. Or you could put them in a Ying-Yang design since love is a balancing act and you have the good with the bad.
  2. I went to Obscurities for a piercing last summer and they where great! I figured I should just drive the extra few miles and go to Elm Street. Have any of you been there?
  3. I'm wanting to get a piece on my back but I'm not sure where to go. I live in Irving Texas outside of Dallas. We've had a couple shops come and go and Sacred Art has always been my shop of choice except when i wanted a piercing done and didn't want to run into anyone locally. But they recently opened a shop in our mall which I had mixed feelings about but I've heard nothing but great things about them. So now I'm stuck. Its all about location, location when it comes to any business and both of their work is alright. But I thought i could just as easily go to Elm St Tattoo in Dallas and get something there. What do you think?

    Sons of Anarchy

It took me awhile to get into it but once I did I was hooked!
  5. I also love reading, and wanted more then a tattoo inspired by a book, which I already have. My idea was from the movie Page Master with Macaulay Culkin and Christopher Lloyd. The 3 books that help him through the movie. They're like personifications of their stories. In the right hands it could look as bad ass / dark / inspiring / happy as you want it.
  6. I'm not sure if this has been posted yet but i found out this weekend that sailors in the 14th century believed if you have a tattoo of a rooster or a pig on your foot it would keep you from drowning.
  7. Have you ever seen Strange Land(s). I'm not sure if its land or lands its been awhile, but its kinda out there.

    Sons of Anarchy

I know!!! It sucks having to wait week by week and through all the commercials.
  9. I freaking hate Hipsters. Their stupid hair cuts and effing big glasses. I'm 22 and have always had big clunky glasses bc medicaid only covered those big "grandma glasses" when i was young so i got use to them. it doesn't help that my lenses are effing thick and cant fit in to those super thin frames. I was made fun of for needing glasses and now people don't even have lenses in their fucking frames!!!! I'm nerdy and Childish which means all the things I am completely in love with are being stream lined by these retards. If you approach me looking like one of those idiots i wont talk to you and look at you like you cant tie your shoes. Sorry done now. - - - Updated - - - I have one and HATE that their so popular. I'm a HUGE HP fan read the books multiple times and HATE the 5th and 6th movies bc they're garbage and a disgrace. I've wanted a tribute to the serious since middle school and when i did finally get one (The Deathly Hallos symbol the triangle with the circle and the line)......i want to scratch it off with a fucking S.O.S. pad i was so pissed how many bitches had them and DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY MEAN. It represents OVER COMING / BEATING death..... so quotes like "death is the next great adventure" or some shit doesn't belong with it!!!!

    Sons of Anarchy

I'm a few years behind but I love this show!
  11. I went and saw "This is The End." It was great!!! Had some down moments but it was pretty awesome! Definitely dude humor though. And "The Purge" was bad. Ass. A must see in my opinion. Had a "the Strangers" felling but i love cheap and cheesy movies. You don't need super effects to make a good movie.
  12. Some of my friends are big redditers. I tried it but it wasn't for me.
  13. Welcome! I hope you enjoy the experience.

    Hello

    Welcome aboard!
  15. The main one that i want the phoenix for is the deathly hallows symbol from Harry Potter. The Triangle with the circle and the line through it. I'm a huge HP fan. The one on my shoulder is the "drink me" bottle from Alice in Wonderland. That I know what I'm going to do its just ganna take some time to perfect. I believe that tattooing is a type of art and if you don't give the artist proper creativity its not a true work of art. So I have an idea and as long as it serves its purpose and is still along the same lines i'm good, and it gives you a unique image that others have but isn't the same flash that's on every tippsy "bad ass" teenager.
  16. I already have a tattoo on my shoulder blade for my daughter so it either has to play into it or kinda go around it - - - Updated - - - and thank you!
  17. Well Welcome! and that looks really cool
  18. Thanks guys. I love tattoos. Even looking at others i find them fascinating, but my problem is that I think i put way too much thought into it. what i think looks great on someone I would never attempt to get so i end up just not getting anything. The only reason i got the 2 i have is bc I'd wanted them for like ever after having a kid i wanted to do something a little crazy. I would be covered in ink if i had enough courage to say f*uck it. - - - Updated - - - But right now my biggest dilemma is between a tree or a phoenix on my back. Not for some super deep meaningful life representation blah blah but bc they are both themes to the best book ever. I already have something there so it would be building on it. but I'm really serious about not having super cliche skanky tattoos. And unfortunately around the hallow of my back so i don't want to go to low.

    1st

This was my 1st. I plan on have other objects from the story interjected around it such as a pocket watch, playing card, tea cup.....and have it colored in.
  20. Hello, My name is Bethany, I've been looking around and I figured if i ever needed real advice i better associate with actual people. You can only look at so many pictures and draw so many variations. I'm 21, 22 next week, Woot! I have a beautiful little Ginger named Alice after Alice in Wonderland who was my insperation for my first tattoo. I currently have 2 tattoos and I'm working on a few more right now. I am strictly a tattooie, and not a tattooer. I mostly joined for advice on ideas which is possibly lame but didn't know how else to get advice with out pestering the local tatttooist. Ummm, I love history? and playing video games? and if I could I would have tattoos that played music. LOL!!! that would be awesome! I guess that's it. Nice to be here!
