Dan got a reaction from pidjones in laser tattoo removal progress
NO !!!!!!!!!! that's not an option, if you just change your mind !?!??!? LOL if you really knew anything about laser treatment, you would know it's a very long painful expensive process that doesn't get rid of the tattoo completly.

Their first and only post. I’m just surprised that there wasn’t a link to some shitty website. I guess that will come in post number two.

Dan got a reaction from Blue Tattoo in What do you guys think of my tattoo?
it's a cool tattoo,
and I don't give a F*** what other people say or think about my tattoos.
if somebody wants to talk about tattoos, then I like to do that,if nobody says anything about my tattoos, then that's fine too.

Dan reacted to Hogrider in Thoughts on my collection so far! Do they look cohesive?
I didn't look at all of the tattooers and all of their tattoos, but overall I wasn't that impressed. Lots of one dimensional, flat work. Also, I wouldn't get hung up on how long someone has been tattooing. The guy that did my wife's tattoo had only been tattooing for 3 years and he absolutely killed it. 10 years later, it still looks fresh.
I'd seriously suggest watching Ink Masters. Skip to the end of each show where they do the critiques and you'll miss all the silly made up drama. The judges critique each tattoo and tell what's good and bad about it. There are plenty of shitty tattooers on that show and a lot of them have been tattooing for a long time. It's just a place to start. I'd go to tattoo conventions where you'll see everything from absolute crap to outstanding work. Look at Tattoo magazines. Educate yourself before you get more tattoos.

Dan reacted to Hogrider in Just got a rib tattoo today and I think it’s crooked
Just wear that bikini top and trust me, no one is looking at the tattoo. If they do see it, they'll think it looks fine.

do your research and please go to a better tattooer, I'm sorry, but IMO that's all crap

We had almost 100 in the judging, and over 100 motorcycles there at the Possum Gathering.

Dan got a reaction from Hogrider in Just got a rib tattoo today and I think it’s crooked
looks fine, and even if it is not perfectly level, it's done !
and besides, those coordinates are just south of the equator, and that is a slightly different angle to the circumfrance of the perimetor equalization factor, so you're fine anyway.

Dan got a reaction from AlH in Does this look OK?
Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objective, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say.

@Hogrider Here’s the end result!
I absolutely love it and love what my artist did to “spice” it up a bit

Dan got a reaction from SStu in Tattoo gone really bad, please help!
so the first and best advice I can offer is to not go back to that tattooer,I think a better tattooer could rework that into a good tattoo, and sometimes there is scar tissue, from a bad application of the tattoo.

Finally finished my ribs. 3 hour session last week, I kept looking at the bottle of numbing crème, but held out. My artist offered it a couple of times, but I said I wanted to “earn” it.
I’ll post a pic when it heals.
I have two sessions left and my body suit will be complete. I’ve been chipping away at it for 12 years. I can’t believe it’s almost done.

Dan reacted to HunteR.S in Japanese font in tattoo design
@Hogrider got what you're saying, the quotes are important for me but i do agree with changing it to dodge mistakes and blowouts,
so first of all, about finding the font, it is something that i spoke to my artist about, and he said that we would sit on it and find something that fits us both. And because I like to "do my homework" I am doing a bit of research beforehand
secondly, took to attention about the problematic areas, so what if I do something like this? (attached a new design), this way I have some more room for manipulation of size and position , as well as avoiding those wrist and elbow ditches
is this better?

The placement Looks better, but thin lines just don’t usually hold up long term.
However, it’s your tattoo and you should get what you want as long as you understand the risks.
Good luck, and please post it when it’s done!
