  1. It makes me sad to think some of you are raising children to be victims and just accept shit, fuck that.
  2. Always nice to see ppl standing up, even if it is directed towards me, bravo. Carry on.
  3. So clearly we all agree the tattooer was wrong. How does everyone feel it should have been handled? The way it was handled?
  4. Na, she was wronged.. I'd go so far as to say violated, and that's fucked up, it pisses me off. At the same time it bothers me that as far as we as humans have come that ppl are afraid to stand up for themselves. I've been picked on, pushed around, beat up and bullied etc etc, but after you punch the bully in the face, that shit stops. On a side note, I wouldn't have a problem with putting this tattooers name out there so other ladies know who to watch out for.
  5. It's a good thing Rosa Parks and MLK didn't think the same as you guys. It's a good thing the founding fathers of the US didn't think this way. Always speak up.
  6. Ppl over complicate, it's simple. If you don't like something, speak up. Sure it's not the same exact situation, but like she won't forget that exp, ever, I won't forget the the tattoo I don't like, ever. Speak your minds ppl, always.
  7. Absolutely the tattooer is at fault, hands down. All I'm trying to say is that he still has no idea he offended her and likely will continue to make these statements.
  8. Hell yes, you don't think slaves and civil rights people were scared to speak up? Damn right they were. Always speak up when TRULY wronged, it's actually quite in powering and breds confidence and will improve your personal happiness.
  9. Please, don't twist my post. If you don't speak up, not only will the tattooer not know your offended but they will continue to offend others. Please grow up man, don't start drama, that's as bad as dudes remarks. You're a tattooer, would you purposely fuck up a tattoo if a client says you've offended them.
  10. No one here is going to encourage you to produce bad tattoos, on you or anyone else.
  11. I don't think it's too unusual to hear jokes or remarks like these, I know I have. I don't think any business owner would offend a paying client unless the client was rude or something, I'm assuming you weren't. In the future I'd suggest speaking up for yourself, no reputable tattooer is going to jack up your tattoo on purpose, remember their name and reputation is tied to the tattoos they make. I don't agree with making comments like that to ppl, but at the same time I feel silence is consent, he/she can not know they've crossed the line if you don't draw one. I hope your future experiences are more comfortable, as they should be.

    Hello

I second this! Welcome to LST!
  13. My very first was right in the middle of my inner forearm, I got the tattoo I wanted where I wanted, shortly after I was promoted to 3rd shift supervisor in the factory I was at. Now I have wrist to shoulder coverage. You know what you want, not just out of your job but out of life, only you can make this choice for you, think it through, make a choice and go with it.
  14. Yup right here or in your gallery!
  15. Mind over matter, get it off your mind and won't matter. The mind is a powerful thing.
