Finally got my elbow done. Was worth waiting, I'm stoked about it.

I don't have an issue with passing down a craft or trade, I worked for my folks at that age but nothing too major.. That said, anyone who sits in the chair and knows a 7 year old is about to tattoo them gets what they deserve..
If there's no labor laws being broken and clients are cool with it, who gives a rats ass, lots of generational tradesman and craftsmen start this early..
I guess if you're a tattooer that had to work their ass of to get an apprenticeship it could/would be frustrating, but we're all dealt the hands we are dealt, this kids hand happens to be with a tattooer in the deck.
At the end of the day, it really doesn't affect anyone but the people who let a kid tattoo them. I find it ridiculous that we have let price and explanation of price become a taboo and dare not discuss it but we are all up in arms about someone teaching their child to tattoo..

Ok guys and gals, I have some cash saved up to get my elbow tattooed. I have enough space for a palm size tattoo centered dead on the point of my elbow. Everything I have already is traditional and I wanna stick with that style. Looking for some suggestions for a rad tattoo. I like the idea of a bear head, gorilla head..
I'm going ask my tattooer for input and he will have full artistic liberty but I'm not sold on any one idea. I do want something solid, unlike a spider web.

While my last was only two days old, a lady manager who was curious and the 'touchy feely' type abruptly grabbed my arm and twisted to get a better look. She complimented me by I still asked her had she lost her mind. Personally I'd rather deal with the stereotypical plain skin questions but putting hands on me and basically trying to force my hand in displaying my tattoo crossed the line IMO.
A close friend still works there in her department said she was taken aback at my response.

This an interesting topic for discussion for sure.
I read in another thread about a similar topic that an artist may be flattered by their art being rendered as a tattoo.. Thought provoking to me.
Would using art originally unintended to be tattoo flash be different?
It would be very interesting to hear the opinion and thoughts of an artist or tattooer that is firmly established and at least semi successful from selling drawings and or flash.
I would hold their opinion in higher regard then my own.

Excluding blatant work of scratchers, art is subjective in any form, tattoos included, always has been, always will be.
