I absolutely love the atmosphere in the shop I go to - they are a fine and marvellous bunch of people and it really does make a difference.  The experience is always filled with laughter, positivity and a sprint of adventure - It's fantastic to see how genuinely enthusiastic they all are about their art and they have created a place that is truly inspiring.  I have a fair amount of work done now and I would not be interested in adding to it in a place that was not in some way magical and inspirational - but that's just me. 🙂

Going to finally get a tattoo at Aloha Monkey next week. A bunch of guest artists are coming in for there 20 year anniversary weekend party and I'm booked with Doug Hardy. It's going to be a good time and hopefully it doesn't hurt at all.

Today’s piece. On the back of the arm with the Ganesh from a month ago.

Thursday finally arrived and I got my 4th tattoo.  Really happy it and already thinking what might be next.  Many thanks to Mike Schlicher at Lake Erie Studio.

Still healing a little bit on these, but we're mostly there. I love the way Randy Muller tied it all together - even matching styles/patterns on my other work:

nice ideas y’all, so far I’m still digging the shark but maybe a shark head with waves to fill awkward spots I think that would fit in with my ship up top and my anchor piece down below, still not sure yet

Are we still tracking lower leg progress becuase  definitely making progress... 

I have a similar gap on my knee and I'm thinking some kind of lizard because they have four limbs, a head, and a tail that can all be twisted into whatever angle the space requires. Good luck! 

You have more of a chance of F***ing it up than making it better if you start monkeying around with it. Go see a really good artist to get some ideas of what to add around it.
There's nothing wrong with that tattoo. 

That's not a bad tattoo, and it's symmetrical plenty enough. Just get more around it. 

Just leave it for now. Give it time to heal.

It looks fine to me, but it's difficult to tell from a photo.  If I were you, I'd wait at least a month if not longer until deciding on any changes.  Live with it awhile.
