  1. Personally, i really prefer Tegaderm on body parts that have no movement, or get exposed to the elements. I think the chest would be kind of pointless, as it should be covered with a shirt anyway, and would be tough IMO to get a good comfortable cover with the -derm. Never travelled for my chest, but I caught a flight the day after i got my elbow ditch tattooed and it wasn't too terrible.
  2. Hahaha. I may have to stop getting tattooed next year for medical reasons, and I don't earn much at the moment. How do you guys and gals feel about funding my back piece?? You can choose the artist even!
  3. Well, lemme know when you make more! Sounds like something i neeeeed!
  4. Wait, do you have your own FTW shirt? Mine is the beardo guy, pocket shirt.
  5. Also wearing my FTW Tattoo shirt today, i wear it alot. Shit's comfy! Also, Feed The Walrus.
  6. I won a pair of painted boots, but not sure which ones? I didn't quite catch the name that she said on the phone, so I'll just have to be patient until Wednesday i suppose.
  7. Yea it seemed like you were there for a while! Can't say i was jealous. I'm super happy how it came out; feels like the perfect image to get from Marcus. Also just found out I won the raffle for the Doc Martens!! Must not have drawn first prize as I didn't get my first pick, but it's still pretty cool!
  8. The gypsy girl head. I was 90% sure that was you, but you looked pretty involved in your ass session, so i didn't want to bother you. Your back piece looks fantastic though, from what i peeked!
  9. Awesome show! Getting blasted by Marcus Kuhn from the Gypsy Gentleman series at the moment!
  10. Ok, I'll definitely be there Sunday. If you see a short white dude wearing this shirt (not me in the photo) feel free to say hi!
  11. I think it's wierd, and disrespectful. Wouldn't put me off my own tattoo, but i can see where you're coming from. It's also (IMO) laziness on the part of the copycat artist and i would understand the original artist being upset.
  12. Would really like a big tiger on my thigh, i think. Or even up the thigh and onto the hip/stomach area. I have an artist in mind, but don't wanna jinx it.
  13. I realize this doesn't come close to half the stuff in this thread, but... I've just realized/learned that there's a decent chance that I'll have to stop getting tattooed next summer, permanently, for medical reasons. Obviously it could be worse (nothing life threatening) but I'm still pretty fuckin' bummed. Now I'm trying to figure out how much i can afford to spend on tattoos over the next year, and what to get in terms of peices i want the most, and getting to a more or less "good stopping point" There is a small chance I won't have to stop, but i won't know for sure until next summer so I plan on getting as much as I can done. No where near the coverage I'd like to have though.
  14. Wish i had known this! I've been tattooed there, and i love mexican food, would have made an awesome post-tattoo meal. +1 to Portland food though. The street food alone is outta this world.
  15. I should be there, need to make a plan but anyone down for a meetup?
  16. Not sure if it's still around, but there used to be a company that made products out of human skin. Belts, shoes, etc. Apparently, because our skin has such small pores, it makes the most amazing leather. Basically, you agree to donate your skin when you die, and your family recieves payment after the skin is delivered.
  17. Holy damn @sophistre that came out so beautifully!!
  18. Awesome @suburbanxcore! I would sell my fucking mother for that second tiger painting...
  19. Portland is a much better place to explore with extra time on your hands. For the sake of getting your money's worth, ya know. Just sayin.
  20. Yeah dude. The contrast in the maple leaves is great at drawing my eyes across the whole piece, instead of focusing too much on just the center. Looking so rad!
  21. That dude is the "human skeleton" He has some tattoos that don't follow the theme, but generally tattooed a huge portion of his body as an anatomically correct skeleton. Google imaging his name should show you the majority. Last i hear he was working as a runway model in France, i believe (might be remembering that wrong)
