  1. Here is a before and after picture of the hard to cover tribal band. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  2. Glad I read your posts. I decided to sample the tegaderm on my other arm for the past two hours since I got a tattoo today. I am bright red front the adhesive. Same thing just happened now when I just took off the saran wrap and tape, I have a rashy red where the tape was. Looks like it's a normal heal with lotion for me. Thanks guys Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  3. Lol Graeme, beat me to it. Thanks! Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk

  5. Decided to use Josh Howard from Solid State Tattoo. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  6. I have been talking about getting an old tribal tattoo covered for years and I am finally going to get that done this Friday. I had been bouncing between a panther vs wolf, both with daggers for some time now. I decided on getting a wolf/dagger combo and then letting the artist decided on anything else needed to cover the tattoo. I asked him to either add a snake, roses or really anything he saw fit. I will post up some pictures Friday. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  7. Quick question, does the tegaderm speed the healing process? I have a wedding one week after getting tattooed but don't want to do anything that may slow down healing? Also how do you get the tegaderm off after 4 days? Thanks Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  8. I didn't know how to describe it. I prefer bold and traditional myself Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  9. Hi, I had my first half sleeve done at Great Lakes Tattoo. It was a good experience but I would like to try another studio to compare experiences. My other arm has a tribal band tattoo I would like covered. Prefer a traditional style tattoo shop/artist so my arms are in the same style. Maybe a traditional artist that has experience covering up old tattoos. Thanks Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  10. What do you guys think of this guy? Not traditional though. https://instagram.com/artbybeto/?hl=en Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
  11. Before the mods deleted the thread on the Facebook garage sale page, he was offering sessions out of his home..... Scary
  12. I was on Facebook today and ran across an ad telling people 50 dollar an hour specials for great work. So I looked.... https://www.facebook.com/WizardCraftTattoo
  13. Some healed pics, sorry for crappy pics in mirror. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk
  14. I have pics from a few weeks after but I am red right now lol. Thanks for the suggestions. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks Graeme hope you are doing well. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk
  16. I been looking at drawings for a few weeks and I finally found a drawing I really like. It was in some bodies sketchbook, he just drew up a random Japanese inspired drawing. I contacted the artist asking if he would mind if I based my tattoo off of his drawing. I don't want to copy the drawing, just want to show the artist I eventually choose that this is what I like and would like something similar to it. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk
  17. I messaged Cory on Facebook, hopefully I will get a response. Here is the tattoo I would like covered up or maybe worked into a piece. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk
  18. Healed pics would be from the half sleeve done over the winter. Unfortunately, due to my stupidity, I got sunburn Friday pretty bad. I thought about 3/4, it's just I would like the ease of covering up for work with 3/4 shirts in the summer. Full length shirts get me really sweaty as I work in a hospital. 19. I will post some healed pics in a few days. I went fishing the other day and even though it was cloudy, I got sunburn, lesson learned here to never forget sunblock as I do not want my work to fade. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks Joe, looks very good. Will check out the shop. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk
  21. Most definitely, I am completely open. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk
  22. Hi everyone I am back. I love the work Nick Colella did for me over the winter based upon the recommendation given here. Now I want to do a cover up on my other arm. I have a tribal piece, like a half band around my arm I got 20 years ago when it was just getting popular, I was 18, and pointed and said this one on printed flash ?. I am always embarrassed of this tattoo. So I was hoping for a Japanese themed half with roses and possibly a Koi or something along those lines. My other arm is filled with random personal meaning tattoos and would like to theme my other arm. I want to plan a session in a couple months so I would like to start booking an appointment with an artist. I am not sure if Japanese is a style Nick does, as I haven't really ever seen any art or tattoos in that style from him. I will ask him regardless though. I am wondering if someone knows of an artist that specializes in the Japanese style here in Chicago. Would love to look at some portfolios and I respect the opinions of the members on this forum. Thank you so much. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk
  23. Like..... Lol Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk 2
