  1. Hi I have been trying to add more to my own blog, but each time I click on any of the appropriate "add new entry" links, it just redirects to the LST home page and doesn't open a new space for a blog entry. Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue? Thanks.
  2. @Devious6 , I will try and update soon :) @Soraya , Oh I would love to see what you have ! And your plans sound great! It sucks that work gets in the way for some. I work at a school so I just adjust my clothes to suit, My pipes stick out a bit but nobody is fussed. Though as I get more on my arms I will just adjust my wardrobe.
  3. Yes photos please :) :) :) What style of tattoo do you like? Do you have more than one preferred style? I love American traditional and variations of, but mainly traditional. I also love Japanese but I wont get any Traditional Japanese tattoos as for me personally I feel I wouldn't do it justice, that I would need to go the whole hog. Do you have any plans in the works for another tattoo? But yes, welcome !
  4. @Dan waiting can suck ;) have you been on quite long waiting lists? I've not experienced that yet, I am pretty certain I would drive myself insane with the anticipation and excitement. @Synesthesia , it can be tricky working out what to get can't it! Hey why not go for the whole dagger through the animal... two birds one stone ;) have to agree with @Shaun1105 though, this last tattoo I gave a general idea and let him design it how he wanted and have to say it was the best outcome. I am sticking to that approach :) @otisc !!! Looks like you will need another project to keep you occupied ! @bongsau I am hoping that I get the same result by the time I do start my thighs :) It does reassure me, reading that's how it went for you with your back! (off to stalk and see if I can find a photo of your back now :) )
  5. If you aren't wanting any more Disney characters, then maybe think of something else bright and fun (thinking of that sleeve you posted, I think that is what you were linking.. the bright colours??) If you are set on having a balloon, just get a balloon tattoo and make it its own. Something bright and fun? I don't know... But definitely discuss it all with the artist. Maybe leave it for now and do what Marley Mission said and get something else somewhere else. After a while an idea might come to you on what else to put with Goofy
  6. Then why go to so much trouble with designers etc? Just go straight to the artist you want, give them your ideas and let them workTHEIR magic. Take some basic print offs so they have an idea of what youre On about sure. But dont go to all that trouble mentioned in your previous posts.
  7. So I was wondering if anyone here had trouble with road blocks, for lack of better term, when it came to nutting out a tattoo and getting it done. For years I have planned to get my thighs started. Years. Anytime I had a day off to go and make a start, I had no funds. Anytime it looked like I had the money, something crapped it on us and so I had to spend money on that. Or I simply couldn't get to town (one car and husband works in another town in the opposite direction ) because I didnt have the car. It just always seemed like bad timing. Ffw to this year and I was looking at a different tattoo shop, again same road blocks. In the end I decided screw it, I will just give up on the idea of legs for now. In the years I have intended to do the leg thing, I ended up with one on outter forearm last may and then my sternum last weekend. The next tattooI am getting is on my arm and I am now just focusing on arms. (have already had a chat to the tattooist about it so just have to call back in the next week or so with reference material) Anyway, so the point of all this dribble... have any of you had issues like that? Had a tattoo design in mind or a placement even, and then for what ever reason, despite your best efforts... its just not gone ahead??? The silver lining has been that I have in fact found a place I feel much more confident in so it does feel somewhat worth it. Maybe I am alone in this sort of frustration and its just been smooth sailing for the rest of you ? Either way I was curious :)
  8. I was going to post this in the healing thread, but its specific to us females so... Ok I am feeling like some kind of genius. I havent been game to wear a normal bra because I already know where they sit on me and they would rub, so I have been going without while at home but this arvo was wearing my crop top style sports bra and noticed its not really all that supportive so my boobs were sitting right on the tattoo (sans bra they sit away from it) Anyway so I have fixed that issue and used sports tape to lift my boobs up higher (taping over the crop and anchoring on top of chest if that makes sense) and now they dont sit on the tattoo. Cue happy dance. There is probably a better option, but Im working with what I have ☺
  9. welcome! I agree, share some pictures!
  10. sternum is tender and swollen today! fine while standing but I have to sit in weird positons so its not all scrunched up (cos I'm a fatty) tried wearing a crop bra but it still sits on it too much and have stuff all over the crop so am swinging free today while I can cos at least that way my boobs hang either side of the tattoo . (yeah those babies have lost their perk that's for sure!)
  11. I tried, in the end i uploaded in the gallery cos it just wouldnt load here.
  12. Ok I have one. Bad advice basically. But specifically, I was told on friday by a local how I should definitely go and get some numbing cream. Firstly , fuck off. Secondly , why the fuck?? Thirdly - *buries head in hands* no.
  13. Sternum done today, i ended up doing the make shift bra with paper and tape and wore a sports crop and flannie. Felt really comfortable , no different to having to strip off for a dr. I was expecting to be in a world of pain, but was really really surprised. most of it was a 1, the worst bit a 3 (tops of daggers). The hardest part was holding my breath when he outlined. (He suggested it just because of the movement while breathing, ) Definitely going back to Michael, he is keen to do my ship /kraken. He loves traditional and thats what I love. (Another dude here hates it so I am excited that I have found someone who enjoys doing it) Anyway thats my dribble :) Im just gonna go back to perving on my tattoo.

  15. Today I got my sternum done. Heart n daggers. hard to take a pic, but you get the idea. Really happy with it! hmmmm pic doesnt seem to have loaded.
  16. Saw on W.T Norbert's IG the other day, he is relocating to Europe
  17. Fuck weight loss. Get covered in tattoos. My husband has a beer belly and I am trying to persuade him to get his belly covered ( and i dont mean as a way of hiding. It just looks bad ass and he is a big hairy angry looking bastard) . They look awesome! And who cares if you did lose weight after getting tattooed. Our bodies change over time anyway. Best to get the tattoos you want regardless of how our body may change down the track right? Also. I want photos. I may or may not be a perve. Its the internet. You decide .
  18. have now seen the drawing and I have to say I am pretty stoked! Been chatting to Michael and I am booked in for next Saturday (28th) at 10am. Woop! I would share a pic of the drawing but I will just wait until it is done and share a pic in the gallery then. It is a heart with 3 daggers stabbing it , an eye in the middle. so fitting. am a bit in love I must admit.
  19. Welcome! Love the idea of a travel leg or arm, plus how much fun would that be!?!?!! Enjoy the trip, looking forward to photos!
  20. no idea re pain, I'm getting mine soon. If you go back through this thread though there are heaps of tips re coverage. like button up tops etc and wearing crop tops or supportive singlets. I have E/F cup boobs and I'm just going to wear a crop sports bra during healing even if it means not having a heap of support . I was worried about modesty during the process, but I felt really comfortable today (first tattoo at this particular shop) so I don't think it will be much of a hassle. after all, they are just boobs. cant comment on numbing cream, I haven't used it before, maybe you could discuss it with your artist?? Good luck!!! On another note- what are you getting? would love to see pics!
