One of my favorites from Sweden. Had the privilege of seeing them in Madison on tour with Dropdead. There was no stage so people kept getting thrown into the band and the vocalist was getting pretty pissed.

I searched around and found no threads about punk music. Well here it is, all things punk rock. Post some new bands on the scene, or some classics. Also any punk tattoos, jackets, vests, mohawks, or anything else related. Sorry in advance if there's another thread like this.

My wife to be isn't tattooed at all. I was barely tattooed when we met and now that I've taken such an interest in studying tattoos and getting tattoos, I still don't mind that she doesn't have tattoos or has no interest in tattoos. That's fine with me. She has many other redeeming qualities about her. It kind of makes tattooing even more personal for me. I have posted on another thread that I don't really find tattooed women more or less attractive than women who aren't tattooed.

I actually thought Rob Zombie had some pretty valid things to contribute. It seemed to me like he maybe is a big art enthusiast. CC Sabathia and Hugh Jackman were a waste of a guest judge spot. Hugh Jackman looked like he had been asking his agent 10 minutes before getting there "what is this now? A tattoo competition? What the hell do I know about tattoos? Ok well let's make this quick."

I'm only human, so of course I judge people's bad tattoos. Not the person, but the tattoo. If I see a poorly done tattoo, I assume it was done by their friend or a scratcher. With all the great tattoo artists in the midwest, not even including the rest of the country, there is no reason to get a poorly done tattoo. Ever.

As a registered nurse, I've been wondering lately how you would cannulate or take bloods from someone who had full arm coverage.
Has anyone here had difficulty when they needed to have a blood test due to the nurse finding it hard to locate a vein? Or had other experiences where medical care has been compromised due to being tattooed?
Fellow nurse here. I usually go by feel. There are certain landmarks such as the wrist or antecubital that I always go to with. If that doesn't work, I learned how to place IVs by ultrasound, which helps immensely. I haven't encountered many patients who haven't qualified for procedures or surgeries d/t tattoos, but I'm sure there could be transplant lists that may deny people who are tattooed before a certain year.

He means "tattoo gun" aka tattoo machine.
I come to this forum because I still have a minimal amount of knowledge on the tattooing process from the artists perspective. It's awesome to have that advice and information available on here. That is what makes this forum great in my opinion. So "police" away!

Latest session, two and a bit to go!
I've been looking at this tattoo on instagram for the past 3 days and am just in awe by it. Awesome tattoo @Joe Stratford!

Yeah it's true, nobody deserves a bad tattoo. Tell that to the artist that ruined that man's arm with that swirl. I don't understand why someone would go on a reality show and get tattooed by an artist out of their element, with a time limit, tattooing something that they don't normally tattoo or a style they've never tattooed. The clients have to know all this information before they do it, and if they don't, that's dishonest on the shows part. If the clients do know about these fact before getting tattooed, then they assume the repercussions of a bad tattoo. The same goes for agreeing to appear on television. I mean seriously, it's not like these people get kidnapped, get a bag put over their head, and when it's pulled off, they're on Ink Master against their will to get a tattoo. These people chose to do this! I don't feel sorry for any of the "canvases" that get a terrible tattoo.

Sick sleeve dude. Can't wait to see that finished. Welcome to the forum.

Just put down a hefty deposit on a koi half sleeve... the outline and shading is booked for April 8th. Pretty damn excited.
That's awesome! Who's got the pleasure of doing it?

@deadsp0t I agree with you, but in my opinion, I think personal meanings for tattoos should be just that, personal. And who knows, maybe they just wanted a tattoo because it looks cool, but the show needs them to make up some BS meaning.

Well, we didn't manage to make it 5 hours, I gave up after 3.5 hours :)
But we did cover a lot of skin in those three and half hours, so I think we did OK :)
Next session in two weeks... can't wait ;-)
Damn that back piece looks so sick @DevilMan. Can't wait to see it finished.

I'm jealous of all of you people getting tattooed by Chad! He seems like such a cool guy. Actually I'm watching his interview again because I love his story about getting tattooed by Ed Hardy. Enjoy your tattoos and please post pics! Can't get enough of his tattoos. I've got 2 days until Scott Sylvia does my rattlesnake and skull tattoo and 11 days until Dusty Neal does my grim reaper. March is going to be a good month for all of us it seems.

I told a co worker of mine that I'm getting a rattlesnake and a skull tattooed on my torso. He said "are you getting a Harley with that tattoo? hurr hurr hurr." From now on when someone at work asks me what I'm getting tattooed, I'm just telling them I'm getting a dead relative tattooed on me.
