Many years ago I think I may have been particular, but in the end...man, it was just all about the coverage. Power lines, bold, slam the fucker in. A crocodile over the ribs you say? I tell the straights nothing. Even genuine interest, it's not for them to understand in my book.
I keep my answers aloof, don't tell them where I go, don't even try to educate a clean skin as to why.
I consider it prying into my business. I don't pry into theirs.
Keeps a bit of the mystery alive too.

There's defo some advantages.
When we take the kids to the beach and looking for a primo spot to sit, it's amazing how when I'll strip down to a pair of shorts, put up the umbrella, fold out the chair and crack a coldie, then the people who up and move ha!

My wife & mother of our two children has no tattoos nor the desire to get tattooed & has no interest in seeing or hearing about when I add to my collection. She basically doesn't give a f*ck, nor gives a f*ck what other peoples reactions are.
I met her heavily tattooed, & now suited, she just sees it as a normal progression in something I've dedicated the best part of my life to.
We go further than just skin deep.

There's a reason we come back to dragons, panthers and the like. They're timeless, and well..just fuckin cool.
Just done a quick count of 9 dragons, but not 1 panther.

Here's my mutant viking. This is years old, never been reworked. I remember this one well, Dino (RIP) belted the fucker in.

It's 0530 here, just woken and I find myself coming here to LST to help me get in the frame for the day.
The usual routine begins. 0630 extra sweet coffee. 0700 long warm shower. 0745 pack a cooler bag with 6X stubbies of Coopers Pale Ale & Mercury Cider. 0800 hit McDonalds for an English breakfast wrap meal/ small orange juice.
0830 hit the road churning out some Tattooed Mother Fuckers on the stereo.
0915 arrive at destination, tattooer and I close the door to the private room and begin the morning by filling the room with smoke, exchange a few laughs and sharing a couple of stubbies.
1030 in the zone for today's neck slam.
Today, should be done by 1300, home by 1400, hot shower/ cider post tattoo aftercare.
Happy days.

Best advice.
Block her from social media, delete her number. Not to be nasty, so you can get to the point of not having her on your mind, driving you crazy 24/7. Work on that emotional strength....and one day, you'll find yourself at a time not thinking about her when you normally would. That's when you know you're progressing... then it just gets easier.
When a woman needs space, for whatever is driving it, whether we like it or not, we just gotta take a breath and give it to them.
