It's easy to write off dissenting opinions as "hating" or "ego maniacal". Don't make that mistake here. Look at how you approach us instead once in a while. We are this harsh to ourselves, and each other bye the way. Not just in critiques. If you are looking for the "passive happy information machines" go somewhere else.

i thought it was said a long time ago there would be a "tattooer only" section of this forum? that would be the best thing to happen on this forum, i think. i barely look at it because it's mostly non-tattooers pontificating on something they know little or nothing about or talking about bullshit that has nothing to do with tattooing, or idiots like bubblebooty.
i don't mean to come off as a dick or some kind of elitist, but i think the tattooers on here may understand what i mean.

Nah, we had it pretty sweet over here before people started showing up and start asking about "how do's" "what if's" ect.. Just sitting around talking about the history of tattooing, tattoo artists we admire, new tattoos we were getting, and what not, but never diving to much into the trade of tattooing. Here at LST, much like a tattoo studio, if you sit there pay attention and listen you will get little bits of information about the craft, weither you're a tattoo artist or not, but you need to be willing to listen.
Edit: post about find stuff to complain about

... How about as long as 16.5 hours? (Houston to Tempe AZ.... )
    It's well worth it.
Home to someone doing hands down the most amazing Japanese tattoos in the US.
    Anybody that knows, knows.
Anyone that knows would agree without thinking twice.

I grew up with the intention, & the values of never touching my face, neck or hands.
After many years of acquiring my suit, well, I kind of figured only then, I earned to have my hands & neck sleeved in. And I have to say, at first I felt a little odd with my neck & hands being so exposed, but love those tattoos & feel they really compliment the suit work.
I remember when I was 18 & wanting my hands done, although there was no way any tattooer would until you reached the stage of completion.
I appreciated that sound advice, & fully understand the reasoning behind it. I had to wait 28 years to extend :)
Will never touch my face for obvious reasons, & probably not my head. Only because I don't want to shave my hair, otherwise, head tattoos are faaarkin' awesome.

One of my buddies want to get a small neon sign with a simple pull chain to turn it on and hang it above the station, so that anytime someone asks "Can I get a tattoo of a word in white ink?" ... stop tattooing, reach over & pull the chain - 'FUCK YOU POSER' pull the chain to turn it back off and return to tattooing. No words or even eye contact need be said or done.
"Can I get a word on my pinky?"
    'FUCK YOU POSER'
"Can I just get a line or two with no ink to see if I can take it?"
    'FUCK YOU POSER'
"Can I get it backwards so that I can read it in the mirror?"
    'FUCK YOU POSER'
(not kidding, this has been requested along with "can I get this quote on my ribs upside down so that I can read it?")
"Can I blah blah blah waste your time blah blah blah I want a tattoo but not really I just want to say I have one"
    'FUCK YOU POSER'
The whole idea that this thread is based on gets the FUCK YOU POSER.
Not to any of you personally, I think what I said is pretty clear.

I bought a new mattress and boxs pring for the headboard and footboard I just antiqued [good] and the box spring will not fit up my stairs [bad], so I just spent the last hour removing the NUMEROUS staples securing the dustcover, sawing the wood frame at the half point, and tomorrow will be bending that sucker in half with the help of a friend. Then I've got to get some metal brackets to reinforce the sawed parts after it's in place and bent back to shape. Biggest pain in my arse, ever.

Although I did not actually see the image you posted, SeeSea and CultExciter gave intelligent and mature responses. It seems like a shame that you chose to focus on what may or may not have even been a rude response by one poster, which in my opinion wasn't. If you're gonna ask for opinions and critique, you have to take the good with the bad and laugh at yourself a little. Life isn't so serious, and honestly man, it's kind of silly to delete your work just off of that. Take pride in your work, even if it's not the best job. Learn from your mistakes and take feedback gracefully or don't put it out there cause nobody wants to hear "poor me" when you ask for critique, naw mean?
