  1. yes. - - - Updated - - - A journeyman is a person who has completed an apprenticeship and is fully educated in a trade or craft, but not yet a master. To become a master, a journeyman has to submit a master work piece to a guild for evaluation and be admitted to the guild as a master. Sometimes he is required to accomplish a three-year working trip, also called the Journeyman years. Does the tattoo community have a guild?
  2. I was getting tatts before they were cool and on tv..better quality and better prices overall..LA Ink etc. ruined it all!
  3. I believe that the customer should be considered, but not deferred to..meaning I would not play anything to offend them, but I would not submit to something i don't care to listen to either. I once had to listen to thrash metal for six hours while I was getting work done and thought my brain was going to melt!Never went back.
  4. Now i feel bad..been getting tattoos since 1982 and have never even thought to tip someone.
  5. I usually tell them that I have one tattoo from each continent that I have visited, they ask how many I have, and I tell them 50 plus, most don't get it! As for the price,I get very creative!
  6. This brings up a question for me.(and I know beforehand that i will be severely scolded!),but why is there a need for tipping? It seems to me that all prices charged should be inclusive of a profit.
