  1. So damn good man that is perfect composition and I always say this but you can't beat his water, those finger waves are rad!!
  2. I take your point too. On second thought I should have been more sincere towards @thecatatafish about his tattoo, although I am sure he knows what Gen is about otherwise he wouldn't have made the comment about some people on here not digging him. Im going to end this now because its not what im about and I respect this forum and the majority of the people that contribute.
  3. So you think it is ok if another tattooist gets one of your custom tattoos from the internet and traces it line for line and passes it on as their own? Im sorry if I have offended a small number but people here on the forum but tattooists like Gen from the biscuit family in Korea are leeches in my opinion. I live by good morals and If something isn't right I will speak my mind, if you don't have morals what do you have right. This guy has mad skills why does he deem it appropriate to disrespect another artist and his client who has probably worked damn hard to afford it and endured much pain to get his custom tattoo. I was gutted when I stumbled upon this on Gens' instagram a while back, my dragon is now reproduced onto probably and unsuspecting client of Gen......thanks
  4. Obviously you have a nice tattoo it's just a shame it's a Shige knock off.
  5. @CultExciter @hogg @Duffa Thanks mates appreciate it. I must say full credit must go to Dean for how it is turning out, im just the fortunate recipient of this back piece. @Duffa No real secrets mate just a desire to get it done and get it done quick. I get asked fairly often if I am use to the pain and usually say the pain is the same I can just deal with it better. Some parts of the back are nothing more than a tickle and others like wasp stings... 3 more sessions and I should be done so looking forward to that!! Sorry for the shitty quality pictures too they are atrocious, the lighting in my house needs to be addressed.
  6. Evan Griffiths who co owns Tama Tattoo in Melbourne, Australia. Evan is well known down under but probably not so much elsewhere. In my opinion he is one of the most dynamic tattooist out there, his japanese is outstanding and his bio mechanical is world class too.
  7. @MoistTowelette hey bro good to see you on LST there is a great community on here and no spam bullshit you get on ET. @TravisGarcia thanks man I have enjoyed posting the progress, it is really coming together now.
  8. @MoistTowelette Dean Sacred from Sacred Tattoo in Auckland, NZ. What is your user name on ET?
  9. @Avery Taylor thanks mate looking forward to showing you all the end result this year. I think 4 more sessions and we will have this thing knocked out.
  10. @a1steaks thank you the artist is Dean Sacred owner of Sacred Tattoo in Auckland, New Zealand. @Lance thanks man I have been doing a full day every month so progress is going well. The motif is something Dean uses in his paintings and some of his tattoo work. I had that awkward spot and it worked so that's what we went with.
  11. How was your head the next morning man? that dragon is cool who is the artist?
  12. Look at all them trophies on his shelf he must be good.... "Best boss " haha he is a character alright.
  13. I'm not being a dick but you chose to go black and grey for this piece so that is what you have. I'm a tattooist but I know putting colour into that will surely not make it better. - - - Updated - - - I'm NOT a tattooist!! I wish I was....I can't draw to save myself tho.
  14. Thank you. My back is turning out way better than I ever imagined, I look forward to posting more progress!!
  15. @hogg Thanks buddy its coming together, still a few yards ahead of us though. You were right about the crease below your butt cheek that meets the leg, that is something else!! @Cork Thank you man glad you like it, I have been on a bit of a roll with appointments but I will be slowing down a touch shortly due to $$$ , will be finished this year though for sure.
  16. 5th session. 5 hours of arse and hamstrings background. Im glad I only have one arse crack and that I don't have to get it tattooed again, its a fun spot.
  17. @istunn thanks for sharing it here mate you have a great piece for sure, Horitomo is the chosen one right !! Glad I could point you in the right direction to the only tattoo forum on the interwebs that matters. @Ben87 that is ill man Filip is a machine I bet he smashed that out in 10hours flat or something rediculous. I think I could just get finger waves from him and be over the moon, definitely the best water in the biz I think!!
  18. 4th hit on my back. 7 hours on veil and leaves. Once healed veil will be an opaque grey to distinguish from the black and grey background, everything under the veil will be boosted once healed aswell,Thanks.
